Just as the doorbell rings, I finish putting my mascara on. The only problem now is how I am going to get my dress on without messing up my hair. Not to mention that took me two hours to curl after washing and blow drying it. Moaning, I quickly slip on the black cut out skin tight dress as I hear them talking downstairs.

Looking in the mirror I see one curl out of place. Fixing my hair I slip on the black heels and run out of my room, but not before grabbing my clutch and mobile. Rushing down the stairs I take a deep breath and step into their conversation.

Sebastian is the first one to spot me. Instead of greeting me like a normal person he stares at me with his jaw slightly open like the weirdo he is. "Hey, you ready to go?" I ask Sebastian. It seems like I will be the one starting conversations tonight since it seems he has lost the capability to speak.

"Arabella nice of you to join us," James smiles at me. "I thought you were going to be staying in with the family. We had planned a movie night." I remember no such conversation that we ever had. James is either lying or when he told me I was pretending to care what he was talking about. "Oh, I thought I told you." It's only been about three days since he has talked to me. James and I haven't been on good terms lately.

I was trying to study like the good child that everyone knows I am when James wakes up from his power nap as he calls them. Anyway he wakes up and stats complaining that I didn't wash the dishes and that my stuff is everywhere. It was just my backpack that I left on the floor that I sat down and my work bag. He didn't ask me to move it nicely he told me to, and no one tells me to do anything. You have to ask nicely. I told him when I finished my homework from university I would move the bag. That wasn't good enough so he kept yelling at me so I stood up and yelled back at him.

This is where James made the first mistake. He let his anger control his emotions. He picked up my bag and threw it at my face. That was the last bit I had trying to control my anger. Picking the bag up I threw it back at him and said a few choice words. That's when we got in a full on fight. Not with our fists, but our words. Ten minutes later their is a knock on the door. James just has to yell at me one more time before he answers it and of course it's the police.

The neighbors heard us arguing across the street and called the police. James explained to them what happened and we were left with a warning. He thought he got off easy, but that's when Catherine pulled up with Libby in the car. To say she was angry is an understatement. She grounded me and had James drive me everywhere that I needed to go claiming we needed bonding time. Do you know how embarrassing it is to pull into the university and getting out of your parents car? It was pretty embarrassing. Thankfully he bought me a pizza and we went back to normal, but we still don't talk as much.

"So where are the two of you going on this cold night, two days before Christmas?" It's almost Christmas? Since when? I haven't bought presents for anyone.

How did I miss all the Christmas lights? "How did I miss that it's Christmas?" It seems impossible to miss.

Catherine laughs at me and Sebastian joins her soon after. "You know we're going to the Christmas party that the palace is having on Christmas. Them we are going on a family trip with the royals to Hawaii. Not us adults though. It is just going to be the prince and princess with their cousins. You and Libby are also going to go since the six of you seem so close." When was this planned?

"What cousins?" I don't remember any cousins.

"Jack and Sebastian are the Royal cousins." You've got to be kidding me. Looking at Sebastian he just smiles. Where has my brain been? I feel like I missed a lot, or I just don't remember.

Did I hit my head? I seem to be missing a lot of things lately.

"Well we have to get going we can't miss the reservations. It was nice talking with you all." Sebastian grabs my hand and leads me out the house. As we reach his car he helps me in the back then runs around to get in the drivers seat.
