This is torture. "I need to get out of here."

Being stuck in this room all alone is not good for my health. "Princess you need to be protected." After they learned the person after me is Elaine the king put out a massive man hunt for her. She's being charged for treason against her country.

It's weird how killing me could be considered treason. I'm just a normal person, or I use to be. Groaning I walk in the bathroom closing the door behind me just to get away from them. They watch my every move. I pulled the line at the bathroom. A girl needs her privacy.

Sitting on the edge of the tub I put my head in my hands. Who knew royal life was this difficult. "I've got good news." Looking up I see my best friend smiling down at me.

"What kind of news is it?" Hopefully this is all over.

"They found her!" Its about time. I've been stuck in here for a day and a half. I was brought food for every meal. I just wanted to roam the palace sometimes, but they need to know where I am exactly at all times. Rose pulls me into a hug while jumping up and down. "Now we can finally do things again!" I think I've forgotten what fresh air smells like.

"I wouldn't count on it." Leo says walking into the bathroom. "After this Alex will be even more paranoid. That is very true. There goes my fresh air.

"Why are you here Leo?"

"Oh, Alexander wants to see you Arabella." Great just what I needed. Telling him thanks I walk out the bathroom to see four guards standing by the door waiting for me. He has lost his mind. Without a word I walk out the door straight to his office.

Without a knock I slam it open furiously. "Is this necessary Alex! I feel like a prisoner in this palace. I can walk by myself and I want to finish university. You can't keep me locked in here all day and night!" He knows I don't like to be locked up in one space, yet he does it. I know he was concerned about my well being but I can walk around the palace. Focusing on his figure I see he hasn't even looked up from his computer screen. "Are you even listening to me?" He keeps typing till I walk over and press the power button. "Are you listening now?" I ask sarcastically.

Alex sits in his chair looking straight forward in his chair. "Have a seat Arabella." Did he just call me Arabella? Doing as he says I take a seat in the chair across from him. "It has recently come to my attention that if I am going to be king one day I need to know of everything going on in this castle. In my search of making sure no one got in or out I found a weird surveillance video. I had to watch it three times just to know what I was seeing was real. I never thought I would see betrayal out of someone I am so close too." What is he talking about? Who betrays him?

"Just spit it out already Alexander," I say using his full name.

"I know about the deal," he pauses. "The deal between you and my mother." We had a lot of those so he is going to need to be more specific.

"Which one?" I ask.

The look on hid face is not a happy one. I guess he didn't know we had multiple deals. "The deal you two made to make me fall in love with you so you could be queen." Is he serious? I can't help but clutch my stomach in laughter. He can't be serious. From the look on his face I would say he is. He's not joking.

"Really Alexander. We are back here again?" I ask him. "You know me." I shake my head disappointed.

"I thought I knew who I was marrying but turns out she's a fraud." After everything we've been threw this is what he happens to believe.
