Opening my eyes I see everyone staring down at me. The main pair of eyes that catches my attention are his. After all these years he's been alive. What was he doing while me and Libby were struggling? Where was he when we had to deal with the loss of our family?

He was friends with the freaking prince. He left us to deal with everything alone. We had no one to turn to for help. Here he is years later looking for me. If he only know what he made his little sister do just to get food to his other little sister.

We will see how worried he looks then. You know I bet he will probably think I'm joking, and shrug it off. Till he learns that I'm not lying and oh what a show we will have. Johnny boy on a rampage.

"So back from the dead?"

"It's not what you think," John says quickly. Why is that always the first thing people say. It just says right there, I did it but I don't want you to think I did it.

What does he expect? I have so many scenarios going on in my head and they all involve him leaving us to defend for ourselves. "So you were dead and now your back alive." Sitting up I look around to see in in the library of the church on a couch. What a great place to bring a passed out person. I've always dreamed of being carried to a library passed out.

"I had my reasons Arabella. I can't tell you. Just know it was for your safety. I had to protect what was left of our family." Did he now?

"So you protected me?" I hear those crickets chirping. "That's what I thought Johnny boy. You went out and did what ever you did having the time of your life probably, while me and Libby suffered." I'm done with this.

Swinging my legs over the couch I sit up and walk out. I don't have time to sit there and run circles around the problem. When I ask questions I want straight answers.

Walking through the halls I look at all the fine details and the portraits. I wonder how long this palace has been here. It looks so modern, but they could of remodeled it. The floors practically reflect my reflection while the walls show no spec of dust.

This is every little girls dream. To be a princess and live in a castle with dragons and a knight and shining armor protecting her. To bad fairy tales are just that. Fairy tales. Nothing more nothing less. You're not always going to get your happy ending. Passing the kitchen I go to step in, but stop once I hear a loud crash.

Poking my head through the door I see the staff laughing as they throw a soda bottle away along with what looks like candy. I use to love doing that as a kid. When the drink would come out the bottle it was like your own little soda fountain. All of them stand out from the crystal clean black floors and silver furniture and accessories in their white uniforms.

"Oh um Arabella." Looking at the person that said my name I smile as everyone else waves at me.

"Can I join the fun I promise I won't tell." Waiting while they talk with their eyes I finally get the go. "So what are we doing?"

"We are preparing lunch and planning for dinner. We are having-" That's when I zoned out. I don't care what it's called but all of it looked so good.

"Can I try some?" I ask as my mouth waters. The aroma of the food makes my stomach bubble. Looking at the chef he looks troubled.

"We're not aloud to give out food." The chef says timidly.

"Aw, come on. I could be the future Queen. Don't you want to make me happy?" I just want some food.

"Yes, but-"

"Look I just had the worst day ever. I passed out and I found out my brother I thought was dead is alive. Can a girl get a break?" Sitting down at the steel table with the steel chairs I pull my best sad look.
