Birthday Surprise

Amy's POV:

As time passed me, and Mike became closer, It seemed as if my life turned around. I was at home half asleep when my phone rang it was Lisa

Lisa: Hey, Amy

Amy: Oh hey lisa, what ya doin'?

Lisa: Nothing much getting dressed, you?

Amy: Mmm, nothing just woke up

Lisa: You have no life

Amy: Shut up

Lisa: I was just kidding (laughs)

Amy: Whatever (giggles)

Lisa: Sooo, what ya doing Sunday night

Amy: I don't know yet, why? Oh! yea its my birthday!

Lisa: (laughs) Yea, maybe me, you, and the girls can go some where

Amy: Oh yea, sounds good

Lisa: Yea! kk got to go

Amy: Ok, bye (beep)

I hung up and sat up in bed. Tomorrow is Saturday, my birthday. I stretched and I laid back down as my bed slowly begged me to go back to sleep. Wait.....today's Friday! Oh shit school! I totally forgot. I jumped up as I saw it was 7:30am, which means I got almost an hour, I quickly got dressed.

I ran down the stairs and grabbed my backpack "hey honey good morning, why off so early, aren't you gonna eat break fast?" I shot my head up really fast surprised to see my dad there, usually he's at work.

"Dad! How come your not at work?" I asked with surprised.

"I took the day off, I think I work to much" he chuckled softly.

"Yes dad you do, so what's for breakfast?" I asked.

"Oh just bacon and egg the uasal people eat" he said.

"Oh" I giggled softly.

Me and my dad sat down and ate breakfast together, and talked and laughed like normal farther and daughter do.

It was 8:15am so I had to head to school already. I hugged and kissed my dad goodbye and drove off to school.

I pulled into the school parking lot and parked my car next to Lisa's car. I turned the engine off and stepped out. I grabbed my backpack and headed to the front doors of the school.

I walked up to my locker and unpacked the grabbed my books for history. As I closed my locker door I got startled and jumped a bit to see Mike leaning against the lockers with a very big smile plastered across his face.

"Mike! You startled me!" I said as I gasped.

He chuckled "sorry" he said.

I giggled "it's fine" I said as I gave him a big smile.

He smiled back "Okay, come on let's go to the cafeteria" he said as he grabbed my hand.

Every morning we have to go to the lunch room and wait till they dismiss us to first period.

"So-" he started "um what are you going to do tomorrow?" He said.

"Mm I'm not sure yet. Maybe something with my family" I replied.

"Oh can I pick you up at 8:00 tomorrow? I have something planned for us" he said as he smiled.

"Really?" I gasped as a huge smile lit up my face.

"Of course babe, it's your birthday" he replied.

I felt the excitement course throughout my body as I jumped and hugged him tightly.
