Birthday Wish Come True

I had just finished putting the last bit of my dark brown hair into a cute French braid, when I heard a honk outside.

I gasped "he's here!" I said to myself.

I grabbed my little tiny black purse and headed down the stairs.

"Bye dad! I'm leaving Mike's here" I said walking down the stairs.

"Oh, Okay honey be careful and have fun" he said as he gave me a small hug.

"Okay I will. Bye dad, love you" I said.

"Love you too" he said as I closed the door.

I walked out to see a very happy Mike waiting for me at my front steps.

"Hey, happy birthday" he said as he hugged me.

"Thank you" I said hugging him back.

He opened the car door for me to slid in. He got in and we drove off.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

"Hmm... It's a surprise" he said.

Of course it is.

He pulled up into the park, and parked the car. He got out and I followed him to the trunk.

I gasped "oh my gosh are you gonna kill me?" I said playfully.

He chuckled "maybe, maybe not" he teased.

He popped the trunk and pulled out a basket and a picnic blanket.

I gasped again "oh my gosh we're having a picnic!" I said.

He smiled and nodded "yup, come on I know a quiet place it's beautiful, I wonna show it to you" he said excitedly.

We walked along a path, then he cut through some bushes. He walked into a small wooded area. We continued walking stepping over dead branches and leaves, then a branch smacked me in the face "ouch" I yelped.

Mike turned around "what happened?" He said looking at me.

"Nothing a branch just smacked Me that's all" I said.

He turned around and laughed "hey, it's not funny" I said.

"Kinda" he laughed again.

We walked into a clearing, and I saw we were on on a hill. It was beautiful, there was pretty shades of green grass all over, flowers and flower bushes. The full moon shone all over and lit up the whole hill.

"Wow, this is so beautiful, Mike" I said amazed.

"Thanks, I found it one day when I was wondering around, and said to myself one day I would share this with someone special" he said as the blush filled his cheeks.

"Thank you, Mike I love you it so much... and I love you too" I hugged him so tight.

"I love you too Amy" he said hugging me tighter pulling me so close.

I felt the tears flow down my face, then he pulled away "are you crying?" He held me out in front of him.

"Yea sorry" I giggled softly trying to wipe away the tears.

"Nooo, no don't cry I don't wanna see you cry" he cooed softly wiping the tears away with his thumb.

I giggled softly again and he smiled his big cute smile.

"Ok, now let's get this picnic started" he said lifting the spirits.

"Okay" I said helping him spread the blanket out, he always did make me feel better, even when he wasn't trying.

We had just finished eating and laughing and just telling old story's about ourselves and our pasts again. I had just finished laughing my head off, and was trying to calm down from all that laughing.

We were sitting side by side, when I felt his hand touch mine. It made me tingle all over, it sent all the butterflies in my stomach flying everywhere, just his touch made me feel like this.... I'm so in love with him. I turned to him, he turned to me and our eyes met and locked with each other.

He leaned in closer, and I did too. Our lips met and they seemed to move together as if they were dancing. We broke the kiss to breathe, he smiled hugely.

"Happy birthday, beautiful" he said.
