"Buh-bye..." I mutter, typing in the letters on my computer. "Aaaaand... FINISHED!"

I throw my hands up, spinning in my mobile chair, yelling in happiness. I found the chocolate on my bedside table, treating myself for this momentous occasion. Finally, after two long years, I finished my fanfiction.

"(Nixadmos)," I laugh, "you are one lucky duck."

After I took a bite out of the chocolate, I looked at my monochrome computer, ready to push the PUBLISH button. Only one thing kept me from doing that, though.

"What the..." I squinted at my computer, running my hand along the back of the screen. "Did I eat some bad chocolate? Cuz I know that the computer was red. Unless..."

"HAHAHAHA, YOU'RE PRETTY SMART, QUILL."

No...

I spun my chair around seeing my favorite Gravity Falls villain behind me.

"Wha-BUT YOU AREN'T REAL!!" I tried to run from my chair, but life just had to be a jerk and trip me. I crawled backwards quickly as Bill Cipher began to laugh psychotically.

"You wish, kid! I gotta admit, though, Alex did try pretty hard to destroy me," the triangle shrugged his nonexistent shoulders as he floated closer to me. "Too bad that the internet is stronger than that little show of his; each episode's spell was neutralized thanks to my fans' undying support."

"What are you talking about?" My hand started searching for my cosplay sword, desperate for some kind of physical weapon to use against him.

"My fans," Bill stated smugly. "You know, the ones that write on Wattpad and DeviantART, the fanartists, and every person that searched for my statue and shook my hand; they gave me power to escape that stupid spell!"

Bill's color palate switched to shades of red and black for three seconds before he calmed down enough to change back to his yellow/gold and black coloring.

"Anyway, the point is, I'm still around, and I'm not going anywhere."

Shivers ran down my spine as he said that. If he was going to remain existing, why would he come here?

"Glad you asked, Quill. The thing is, I had made a deal with Alex."

"Ha, he's dumb, but not that dumb." I dismissed his words with a wave of my hand, and Bill had to fight for control once more.

"Oh? And what did you think that the little show was?"

"No," I breathed.

"Yep, and the price was to simply spread the word of my existence. However, he was smarter than I gave him credit for. He got out of the deal by ending the show early."

Somewhere in my mind, it suddenly clicked. He ended it before the third season. Three Journals, three seasons, and three sides of a triangle.

This was all too much to process in the course of a minute. So, had Alex been warning everybody, or something?

"What would have happened if he had reached the third season?" I asked cautiously.

"Isn't it obvious? Then I would be a corporeal being in this dimension! A world without magic, one that I can easily bend to my control!" He laughed maniacally, growing in size.

"Well, that plan obviously failed!" I yelled.

"Yes." His tone was even as he shrunk down to his original size.

"Even so, what are you doing here then? There are plenty of animators in this world, and I sure as heck am not one of them."

"No, but you are a writer- the author of my story."

"Say what now?"

"Just think. I can give you anything. Fame, fortune, an early best-seller, and confidence--"

"I don't need that," I whisper. "Okay, maybe I need the confidence part?"

"All for the measly price of continuing the story of Gravity Falls, and writing what I tell you to."

My heart started beating rapidly as I stared at the dream demon before me. "But, that whole story is a fanfiction," I persisted. "And an x-Reader, one at that. I can't publish your story, I'll be sued for copyright!" I started thinking more on how else to convince him out of the deal.

"That's the beauty of it," Bill mused. "It's a fanmade product, so no one will suspect. And I don't care if it involves the reader in the story; just another thing to draw people in."

I took a deep breath and thought carefully.

"No. I write my own way, and its going to stay that way. Besides, I'm not going to work with you."

"Did I say that you had a choice?"

Bill snapped his fingers, and I could hear typing on my computer.

"Ohh, NOBODY TOUCHES MY BABY!!"

I got up from my sitting position and ran to my desk. To my horror, the letters were typing by themselves.

"Buh-bye..." I mutter, typing in the letters on my computer. "Aaaaand... FINISHED!"

I throw my hands up, spinning in my mobile chair, yelling in happiness. I found the chocolate on my bedside table, treating myself for this momentous occasion. Finally, aft-//

"What did you do?!" I started typing on the keyboard, but the words kept being laid out with no pause. As I read more, I noticed that the story depicted what had happened only minutes before. "Aw, come on! The author shouldn't include herself in the story! That's just tacky."

"Quill, you should know that there's no stopping me. If I want you to write..."

"Well what does this prove?!" I scream. "What can you accomplish with this?"

"Every time you fight against me," Bill explained sadistically, "I reveal one important thing from your introverted life."

"Ok, that's junked up."

"Oh, I don't really care. As long as the work is done. Oh, and good luck deleting your book."

My room started blinking its original colors and the monochrome colors.

"Looks like my time's almost up," he laughed. "Don't forget, Quill..."

I woke up to a bright morning, my TV playing the series finale of Gravity Falls. I blinked before the dream rushed at me with full force.

I stood up from my bed, rushing to my red (thank the Lord) computer. I immediately logged on to Wattpad, looking at the story parts. Listed behind the final chapter, an additional part titled after lit up proudly on my screen.

My heart stopped.

It wasn't a dream.

|A/N: This is my shameful chapter of including the author (me). I don't like when the author includes themselves in an "X Reader" story, especially when all of the attention turns to them and not the "reader". But if they are included at the very end, I don't mind... //Sweats
I also made this when I started losing inspiration, since I was determined to at least write something for this story. Unfortunately, this chapter was made. Anyway, this is a goodbye for real, at least until I decide to finally finish all of those chapters. Thank you so much for reading this story, your comments and support always make me smile. Thank you. ✒|
