Whatever description she had already created to put on her article flew out of her brain after the unbelievable, almost to the point of preposterous, occurrence that had transpired in her home earlier today. She had been sitting on the bar stool for the last 2 hours now with her laptop open and the bar table scattered with her papers, both new and crumpled. She had her hands clasped with her forehead creased as it kept replaying in her mind. Donghae's shocked face, him walking out without a word.... If he thinks she would run after him and explain or try to get him to believe Haru's his, which is really evident on the boy's face, then he's got another think comin'.

She doesn't know what to feel on the fact that Donghae left without saying anything. Without even asking anything about Haru. Even if he's shell-shocked of having an offspring with who he considered a crazy woman and one he vowed to get back on, he should at least see his son. But no. He just walked out.

It almost seems laughable really on how she worried herself on the moment that Donghae would know he's got a son when it looks like he doesn't even care. Asshole. If Donghae doesn't want Haru, then it's his loss and her gain.

I would hurt you in ways that I know you would.

Donghae's words rang in her ears as she heard the muffled laughter of Haru inside his room, no doubt playing with Becky, but she shook them off. No. Deep down inside her, she knows Donghae wouldn't use an innocent child in his ploy to get back at someone. At least, the Donghae she knows would never do that.

She closed her eyes as she threaded her fingers through her hair not wanting to think about this anymore. Every damn shadows in her life is coming back to haunt her. What'd she ever do? She let out a heavy sigh when she heard her doorbell chimed and she got off the stool feeling her shoulders so stopped from too much emotional load she's carrying lately. She went to peer on the window next to the door to see who could be ringing her doorbell and her heart stopped. Donghae was standing in front of it carrying two big bags. He saw her face from the window but he didn't say anything and just gave her a pointed look. Dara stepped back, her mind running again as fast as her heartbeat is. The sight of him in her front door after earlier Is so unexpected. She swallowed first before slowly unlocking the door and opening it.

Donghae stood there with an unfathomable expression but his eyes looked pointedly at her. Dara met his gaze evenly without flinching.

"Did you ever plan on telling me about my son?" Donghae demanded after a moment of silence between them.

"Why should I tell when you weren't even asking?" Dara bit back.

Donghae looked at her in disbelief. "How should I know what to ask when I didn't even know?!"

Dara scoffed. "Maybe you should've started with asking how have I been that day you saw me instead of going all I will take my revenge on you kind of shit."

"Would you have told me then if I did?" Donghae said with his jaw clenched.

"No," Dara answered without a pause before turning her back on him.

Donghae followed inside lugging the two big heavy bags and placing it the floor before grabbing Dara's arm and making her face him. "You have been hiding him for two years! And if I didn't went up the hill, I never would've known! Are you going to hide him from me for the rest of his life?"
