I woke up and saw people crowding around me. They handed me flowers. I didn't know what to say. People around the house, handing me either a white rose or a lilac. Sooner or later I found myself with a bouquet of flowers. " Hey little sis." Logan said. " I know how upset you were when  Michael had  to go to Romania. Believe me I was too. And even Justin couldn't make your eyes sparkle anymore. I hate thinking of my sister as someone who didn't believe in her wonderful winter wonderland as she told all of us. And made little Ashlyn believe in herself when she needed it." Logan continued. This brought tears to my eyes. " so here. This is a note. The first of many. I hope that you get whatever your looking for in life baby sister." Logan told me. By this time my eyes were all red and puffy. I opened the note.

Get out of those penguin pjs. And look in your closet. Wear what is there. Then read the other note.

I went to my closet and saw a penguin sweater, black leggings and my favorite ugg boots. I quickly slipped these things on. A small paper was found in my left shoe.

So you found the second note. Good. Now put on some makeup do your hair all beautiful like you always do. Then go to our favorite date spot.

The note read. I did what the note said. I went out to mine and Justin's date spot. The music store. Standing there were two figures. Kailey and Ashlyn.

" We know how bad you have been feeling lately ally. And well wanted to say something sweet to you." Kailey said. " Yeah. I Wove you Allycat." Ashlyn said. " yes we do baby girl. We put on a little song for you then we have give you this note.... Sing your song Ashlyn." Kailey told Ashlyn. " Merry Christmas, Merry Chistmas to you and have a happy new Year." Ashlyn sang. I clapped and cheered Ashlyn on. " that was just beautiful Baby girl." I tell her. I open my arms and we all hug. " here's your note. Don't read it just yet. Wait until you reach the street sign Maine." Kailey said. " okay guys. Do you know what's going on? I mean first Logan gave me a note that said get  dressed and then one that said to come here?" I ask Kailey. " Nope. Just gave us this post and told him us we had to stick to it.. Now you have to get going." She said shoving me on my way.

I found Maine. I opened it.

My mind began to wander back to a few years ago, to the time of Thanksgiving, the night I lost more then my friends. I lost my relationship with them, as we progressed with our school work,we blew each other off. I was suddenly the girl that had flashbacks of Elementary School. How the bullies would keep me up at night, just itching for a reason more to end my life. I remember what my friend since birth; Mary told me that life isn't always easy. I became that sad young girl again. It was worrying my family. I knew that. Even Justin couldn't get me to talk. He was terrified. So I told him that this is the new me so take it or leave it, he choose to leave it.

I stayed in my room. Michael and Logan came in one afternoon and gave me a gift.  A small little calico kitten. I instantly feel in love with her. She made my days a little better. Then suddenly I was back to myself. A senior then. Ready to graduate, and start my collage life.

It felt like my heart was beating out of my chest when I learned my brother was going overseas. I felt sick to my stomach as he left me for the second time.

By this time tears I didn't know I had were in my eyes. I cried until a saw them. " Oh Ally. I can't tell you how many times I picked up the phone to call you...." Daisy said. It was true,she did. I lost count in about a month,of how many times she had called. " I know." I said softly. " I am sorry, Alyson. I shouldn't have put you in our fight.. And blamed you for it..." Victoria whispered. I knew by the tone in her voice it was sincere.

" So down to business. Ally we have some news for you..." Rose trailed off. " What do you mean?" I ask. " Well... We're in collage now and I.. We wanted to try and be friends again?" Daisy finishes. We were all crying and hugging. Then they took my hands and led me down to a water fountain. " It's beautiful isn't." A deep male voice said. " Yeah. My brother loves this fountain." I say back,smiling at the memories of him taking me here. " Yeah? Can I ask for your name....." The man trailed off. I turned my head and saw him. My brother. I jumped in his arms and hugged him as tight as I could. " So Marshall huh." He says in my ear. I smile and start crying. " Why you crying Allycat." He said. I laughed a small laugh and wiped my tears on my jacket sleeve. " I have been a cry baby for a year bubby... Are you going to give me note....? I ask. " More like a walk and talk type thing." He said softly.

It felt like a lifetime as we were talking. " this is the place I stop... The next thing that's going to happen, is going to make everything in your life just a little bit better." He said rubbing my arms. " now go." He instructed.

I walked down the red rose petal path way. Came to a stoping point and saw the  one thing that could make this night better... Justin.

" Hey." He says. " Hi." I whisper." I have something I need to say Ally." He says to me. My mouth forgets how to speak,so I just nod. " Okay. Here goes nothing. I have loved you since 6th grade. Never talked to you in 6th grade. Just admired you. Thought just how beautiful and wonderful you are... Then in 7th grade when I got a little bit bolder. I flirted. You flirted I thought everything was going well... Then the reason why I failed 7th grade was because I was slacking off and thinking about you in every spare moment I got. I still do. I don't know if it's the thrill of loving you or the nervousness I get without you.. That's how I knew that your the perfect one for me... So Alyson Parker McKnight... Will you do me the honor of being my wife." He says. He's on one knee. Looking at me through his light blue eyes. It made my stomach feel like I was on the worlds fastest rollercoaster. 

" Yes. A million times yes." I say. We kiss and I hear clapping and cheering and people shouting congratulations. " you never realized what day it is did you?" He says to me. " Nope." I say. " Well baby. It's Christmas Day." He said. I kissed him once again, and I knew nothing in this world could ever break us apart.
