Chapter 22

Logan's pov

"What?" I barely got out.

"Logan it's ok, you can't hide your feelings." Riley told me.

"Logan were all growing up, sadly, but we have to be honest with each other. You can't just hide your feelings from us because you're afraid it'll hurt us. We'll all understand in the end." Maya explained.

"So you guys are ok with this?" I asked and they nodded.

"Of course!" Riley smiled.

"Thanks, but I'm not sure yet. I don't know how I feel." I sighed.

"Don't worry, you'll figure it out." Maya smiled.

"Yeah, and were right here with you." Riley smiled.

We all hugged and once we let go, Farkle came in with Smackle.

"Hey Smackle." we all smiled.

"What are you doing here?" Riley asked.

"We're dating now." Farkle told us.

"They're dating!?" I yelled and over back and forth.

Zay and I were at school in the gym. It was after school and I needed someone to talk to.

"Yeah, they look cute together." Zay smiled.

"Zay that's not the point!" I said.

"I thought you liked Lucas?" he asked.

"I don't know anymore! It's all just so complicated." I sighed and buried my hands in my face. "What do I do?"

"Right now I say you need to wait. You're rushing all of this Logan, you first need to figure out something bigger." he put his arm around me and I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Family. Where are you going?" he asked.

I sighed and got closer to him.

"I don't know anymore. The Matthews' and Shawn are talking. I listened in last night. The Matthews' we're talking about adopting me, but Shawn told them it wasn't a good idea. He remembered the time The Matthews's offered to adopt him. And another time he stayed over. He knew that there was no way they would be able to handle me. I stopped listening after that.l

"Whoa," Zay let go of me and I sat up.

I wiped the fresh tears in my eyes.

"What?" I asked. "Whoa what?"

Zay looked at me and shook his head.

"Nothin'," he sighed, "it's nothing."

"No what?" I asked.

"There are two possible things to this."

"Which are?"

"Either Shawn adopts you," he started.

"Shawn isn't going to adopt me. He's in and out, no way he can handle a kid." I already cut him off. "Second?"

"He's sabotaging you." he said.

"How?" I asked a little angry.

Shawn and I don't get along, but still. I mean it doesn't mean he would sabotage me.

"He was telling them not to adopt you." Zay shrugged.

"He wouldn't!" I jumped up.

"I'm sorry, it just sounds like that." he sighed.

I stood there for a minute.

Is he trying to?

Maya's pov

"Hey huckleberry." I smirked when Lucas came in, and he rolled his eyes.

"Be kind." he pleaded but I didn't care.

"What do you need?" I asked.

"How do you choose between people? But you love then all equally?" he asked.

"I don't know if you can. Why?" I asked.

"Just some drama." he shrugged.

I knew what it was about. Me, Riley, and Logan. He doesn't know what to do.

"Well, I'm right here for you if you need me." I told him.

He looked at me shocked.

"Wow, something nice. Thanks." he smiled.

We both looked at each other, but I quickly looked away.

"I have to head home." I told him.

"Ok." he nodded.

I gathered up my things and left.

I need to forget about him.

But I also don't want to hide my feelings either. My feelings matter to, right?

Why is this complicated?

Stupid feelings.

I just started lacrosse so I don't have as much time to write this book, BUT I'M NOT ENDING IT OR ANYTHING!

Why would Shawn tell Cory and Topanga not to adopt Logan? And will Logan believe Zay?

So, who will Lucas choose? And we've heard from Logan and Maya, what about Riley? AND LUCAS! WHO KNOWS WHAT LUCAS IS THINKING!?

And why did Farkle go to Smackle after her realized Logan likes Lucas? And why is Logan jealous?

And why am I listening to the Jonas Brothers!?

So many questions holy cheeseballs!
