"Ouch" I groan feeling pain shoot through my legs an I collapse back on the bed in too much pain
"I know it hurts Niall. Your legs are gonna be stiff and sore from not walking for eight days but you've got to try an start walking again" the Kate tells me
"I know" I sigh panting "it just hurts so badly"
"I know I'm sorry" Kate my nurse says sympathetically
"Are you sure he should be doing this?" Liam asks watching from the corner of my room with a worried expression on his face
"Yes Li. I have good days and bad days and today; today is a good day. I'm going to do this today." I tell him smiling at nurse Kate repeating her words
"Okay" Liam sighs still unconvinced
"Ready to go again?" Kate asks
I nod determined to take just a few steps at least cause the sooner I start walking an getting my life back together the sooner I can leave here.
"Okay" she grabs my forearms and helps me up keeping me steady
"Owe" I groan taking a few steps
"Great job Niall!" Kate smiles "just walk to this chair alright you're almost there!"
I slowly and painfully make it to the chair about two feet away slumping into it exhausted an breathing heavily.
"You did it Ni! That was great!" Harry tells me smiling
I smile back weakly breathing heavily "my life is so pathetic" I shake my head
"Well you're recovering from major surgery and a bad infection. Your going to be weak for a while but you'll get back to normal soon" Kate says kindly
"I hope so" I smile back at her "you lads have to go though!" I say to Louis and Liam
"Our plane doesn't take of for two more hours" Louis says
"Yeah and you're not going to be late and miss your flight!" I tell them sternly
"Nialls right lads we should go incase we hit traffic" Paul says siding with me
They both sigh "fine"
They come over and I hug them both "I'll call you once we land okay?" Liam tells me
"Alright" I agree "I'll still be here" I joke
"Don't go and like almost die again while we're gone okay." Louis tells me
I laugh nodding "I'll try not to" I agree
"Good" he smiles
"We'll see you soon" they says walking out after hugging Harry also
"Bye!" We wave goodby to them and the leaving heading to the LAX airport
"Alright walk back to bed now?" Kate says smiling
"Uhgg" I groan dramatically
"Come on you can do it"
"Doesn't mean I wan to" I laugh and so does she
"Good Morning Niall" Dr. Charles whispers as to not wake Harry walking into my room at five AM the next day "what are you still doing up?" He asks
"'M waiting for Liam's call that they landed" I tell him tiredly only having slept for a few hours
"Oh alright, well Kate told me she got you walking last night" he says flipping through the chart at the end of my bed
"Barely. Only to that chair" I motion towards the chair where Harry is asleep soundly on my left
