"You have to tell him!"
"Why!?" I groan hearing voices in my foggy state of mind
"Because! I'm tired of lying! Especially about something that you have the power to fix!" I open my eyes tiredly hearing Harry and Louis outside of my hospital room
"No it's not that bad! I'm not going to worry everyone over something so stupid when we should be worried about Niall" I sit up slightly hearing my name said but quickly stop feeling pain in my chest
"You keep saying that! That you don't want to worry everyone! I think you're just afraid to find out what this is!" I hear harry shout angrily
"...I'm not telling them. Nialls been in hospital a week. This can wait another two." Louis says frustratedly
I look around seeing only Liam sleeping heavily on the couch next to my bed. I sigh wishing I was strong enough to get up and see what the fighting is about behind the door but radiation has made me barely strong enough to feed myself.
"If you don't tell Daniel I will." Harry threatens. What the hell are they talking about!?
The door to my room suddenly opens and Louis walks in a frustrated Harry following him.
"Niall? You're up! How are you feeling?" Louis asks as if everything that just went down didn't happen
"Alright t-hroat hurts" I croak out my throat painfully sore again because of radiation
"Here mate" Harry hands me a cup of water and Louis adjusts my bed so I'm sat up a bit
I drink it gratefully, the cool water feeling good on my burning throat
"Nurse said you fell asleep during your morning radiation" Harry tells me answering the unasked question of how I got back to my room
"Yeah I didn't sleep well last night" I explain
He nods "Liam told us"
Of course he did. Liam took his turn on "Niall watch" duty last night so of course he told them that. I'm not complaining. I love having the boys around but if they honestly think I didn't notice one of them always "happens" to be with me; they're idiots
"What were you talking about?" I ask letting them know I heard they were talking and seeing of they'll finally tell me what's wrong with Louis
"Umm..." Harry looks down
I look to Louis "ah nothing" he sighs
I was about to admit that I know something is wrong with him and I want to know what, when Liam woke up stoping me
"Hey" Liam says in a thick morning voice
"Hey nice of you to join the living!" Harry jokes
"Mhm" Liam sits up rubbing his eyes "guess I must've fallen asleep while Niall was gone this morning"
"Well it's probably good you got some rest. We have an interview we have to go to today" Louis informs us
"Uhg can't we just skip it?" Harry sighs
Lou shakes his head "Paul said we have to go to this one because we've been so MIA lately"
"Well I'll just be here" I say sort of jokingly but honestly I would give anything to leave here even if it was for a stupid interview
