Chapter 37

I can't believe Gaara is actually asking me to marry him. Out of all the beautiful people he could've chosen, it was me.

"Gaara wait" I yelled.

"Hmm" he said walking back toward me.

"Take this" I said. I gave me my communication bracelet. I have the necklace so we can communicate from anywhere.

"Thank you" he said.

He hugged me, and then we both parted ways.

"Shiz" I say running home. It was 8:53 and I was 10 minutes away.

I get home right as the clock strikes 9.

"Good, you made it home, now go to bed" my mum ordered me.

The next morning

I wake up and I put on black ninja shorts and a red shirt and black ninja shoes.

"Irika come down here please" I hear mum yell.

"Coming" I yell.

Then I went downstairs to see everyone gathered around and they all seemed really happy.

"Why are you all so happy" I ask.

"Follow us" mum and Sauske said.

I followed them. They lead me through a valley of flowers and it leads to an open valley.

"It's beautiful" I say.

"Just wait" mum said.

"Sit down" she said.

I sit on the flowery bench in the middle of the valley.

"Close your eyes" mum said.

I feel someone walk up too me.

"Okay, open them" she said.

I open them to see Gaara in a tuxedo and his hand held out.

"Come on Irika, it's our wedding day" he said.

"Wait wedding day! I look horrible, I don't even have a dress" I said.

"It's okay, you look beautiful" he said

I walk over and take his hand, and he takes me to the front of the valley.

"Gaara, do you take Irika to be your loftily wedded wife, through sickness and in health" the guy said.

"I do" Gaara said.

"And Irika, do you take Gaara to be your loftily wedded husband, through sickness and in health" the guy said.

"I do" I said.

"You may now kiss the bride" he said.

Then, mine and Gaara's lips met. This was the best day of my life.

"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you" I said.

"Neither can I" he said, kissing my forehead.
