Jade looked at Perrie longingly, desperately wanting the blonde to come and cuddle her.

"Perrie, please cuddle me? I'm lonely and cold." Jade pouted, cocking her head to the side as she gazed at the grouchy blonde, who was sitting a meter away on the sofa.

"No." She answered simply, her eyes unmoving from the television screen, despite her complete disinterest in the topic on the news.

"Why?" Jade whined, swatting at the pillow laying beside her.

"Because."

"Because why?" Jade was begging now, her eyes helplessly pleading for a glimpse of the bright, beautiful sea blue that swam through Perrie's.

Perrie shut off the television, remaining quiet for a few moments.

"Oh, come here you cute loon!" Perrie gave in, turning to Jade with her arms outstretched, cracking a small but meaningful smile. Jade giggled and crawled over to Perrie's lap, plopping herself atop it like a small child, nuzzling the side of her head into Perrie's chest as she looked up at her ocean-esque eyes.

"Have I ever told you how pretty your eyes are?" Jade asked, her voice sounding more like a small child with wanderlust.

"Possibly. Can't quite remember 'cos of all the times you've complimented me in general." Perrie giggled, grinning down at the small adult-toddler in her arms. As far as Perrie was concerned, Jade was literally a toddler with an adult's body. She whined, pouted, and giggled more than any other human Perrie had ever been in contact with.

"Well, your eyes are like a deep ocean. I could get lost in them for days." Jade giggled at her pickup line, just before gazing up to see Perrie cracking a small grin.

"Smooth, Thirlwall. You need to get off Tumblr for a while, I think."

"Your eyes are like... What's the color? Cerulean? Azure? Sapphire?" Jade whipped out her phone and looked it up, happily coming to a conclusion moments later. "I got it!" She squealed, grinning widely. "They're azure! It's such a beautiful color. Your eyes remind me so much of the sky, too. Like your eyes are a gateway to the heavens."

"Jade, that's enough. I'm flattered, but I'm really not that special." Perrie interrupted.

"You can't be serious! You're the most special thing I have, Perrie. You're my light, my air, my thoughts, everything. Without you, I wouldn't be the same. I'd be a poor, lost, broken girl with no chance of being found. You found me, Perrie. And I love you." Jade had said it. The dreaded l-word. 8 months of dating and one of them finally said it.

Perrie's head was spinning, swimming in it's own cloud of thoughts. "L-love?" She stammered, her eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "You l-love me? I-I..." Perrie trailed off, unable to look Jade in the eyes, in fear of the idea that she hurt her beloved Jadey.

"I, yes, I love you."

"I love you too..." Perrie choked it out, the words nearly suffocating her as they climbed out of her throat. For the longest time, the only sound that could be heard in their home was their steady breathing. And then, suddenly, Perrie's world seemed to light up in a burst of color as warmth spread throughout her body, starting from her neck, where Jade's small arms had been tossed, her face happily nuzzled into her shoulder blade.

"I don't know how this happened, but I've never been more grateful for anything in my life. I'm so grateful to have you, Perrie." Jade whispered into Perrie's skin, sending shivers down her spine. Perrie hugged Jade back, laughing when they fell off of the sofa, Perrie on top of Jade.

It was there that they fell asleep that night, as both of them were too tired to move.

"Ah, man, that was so long ago! At least, it sure feels like it." Jade exclaimed, looking to her fiancée.

"And here we are, on the way to being happily married." Perrie sighed, kissing Jade's lips softly as they laid on their bed, their legs tangled together.

"I don't know what I would've done without you, Pez. I don't think I would've survived."

Perrie gave no vocal reply, her head nuzzling into Jade's neck serving as her answer. She peppered soft, tender kisses full of love along the small bit of skin where her mouth was, simply taking in Jade's warmth as she did so. Perrie stopped for a moment and looked up at Jade, speaking. "I love you so much that I can't stand it." She peppered a few kisses across Jade's nose and cheeks, kissing her cute nose a few extra times for good measure. "I love you so much that my heart nearly bursts every time I think of you." Perrie moved to Jade's forehead, trailing soft kisses along each small imperfection, smiling at each spot. "I love you so much that I couldn't ever stop loving you, no matter how hard I tried. You are everything to me. You are my sun and my stars and my moon. You are a part of my every waking thought. You are apart of me as a person, and I wouldn't want it any other way." Perrie left kisses down the side of Jade's face between each word, stopping just before she reached her lips again. "You are the world to me. Sure, you have your problems, but you're always there for me. I love you to such a huge extent that I can't go fifteen minutes without talking about you. Heck, I can't even go five! When you shatter, I promise that I'll always collect the broken pieces and put you back together. When you're feeling upset, I'll be right there, holding a tub of ice cream. I'll always be there for you, like the sun is always there for the moon. I love you so immensely that my heart can't take it. I'll always love you, Jade Amelia Thirlwall."

As Perrie uttered the last word, she pressed her lips to Jade's, smiling. When they pulled apart, Jade was quick to respond.

"I can't even begin to explain how much I love you, Perrie Louise Edwards." She spoke rather breathily as she laid her head on Perrie's chest, happily letting her mess with her hair. "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else except beside you."
