Flipping tables,
Messiah,
Conqueror,
King of kings.
Let me have just a bit more of that
Before having to return
To the shepherd
Who turns the other cheek,
Forgives,
Indulges
Meals with people we do not like
And refuses to condemn the guilty
Or strike down the heinous
Rather than reform them
Like he did with Saul and me.
