A/N: I mean look at the manip.... can i cry?
~
"Morning." I exhaled loudly, going through the front door of the main house to the smell of fresh bacon and eggs, striding in my short white silky morning gown.
Our whole family was in Bali, Indonesia. And when I mean 'whole' family, I mean everyone. From my nana to my little cousins. My parents were renewing their wedding vows and they decided to do it big. So they flew us all here and I got to say, I'm not complaining at all. Bali was such a beautiful holiday resort. The landscape was gorgeous. Our family lived in this huge set of houses around the main house where my parents lived. The guest rooms only contained a bedroom with a balcony facing the sea and a huge bathroom. And not to mention how incredibly warm it was in here. We had been here only for two days and I was already way too tanned. Thank God for my mexican roots so I can tan properly.
"Morning." almost ten different voices replied to me.
I followed the amazing smell of breakfast to the kitchen, greeted by my big family. My parents, nana, Abbie and my aunts and uncles were there too. I swear to God they all wake up way too early. Abbie was holding Brielle, her daughter who was 2 years old. The day she was born really brought our family back together. Everyone was happy and we had no worries. Brielle was just too beautiful to be real. Abbie wanted to name her Emory but she just looked more like Brielle than Emory. And now she could already talk and walk and especially run. I can't even count the times I've ran after her. If you let her down for even a second, she would disappear. Abbie and Chad put her in a kid leash whenever they went public.
"Buenos días, nana." I kissed nana's head, greeting her.
" Días, querida." she smiled at me.
"How'd you sleep?" mom asked me over the loud noises my family was making.
I could hear two different languages talking at the same time, spanish and english. It was hilarious.
"Great, actually." I answered while smearing butter on my toast.
I had no back meanings in my sentence. Me and Justin were just really tired when we came back to our guest house from a club in downtown. It was almost three in the morning when we made it to our king size bed.
"Let me guess, Justin's still sleeping." Abbie decided to join the conversation as she helped Brielle eat her breakfast.
"He was literally snoring when I woke up. He looked so tired so I couldn't just wake him up." I giggled.
Of course Justin had to come too. My parents wanted him to come. They liked him very much even though my mom's first impression of him wasn't so great. You know the deal. But especially my dad was crazy about him. They always talked about sports and it looked like they really enjoyed each other's company. Abbie's boyfriend came too of course. But you know, Alexis. She didn't have a boyfriend. Just a couple of guys who you can't really invite to a family vacation.
"I bet. Chad too. But I think he should be up already." Abbie glanced down at Brielle who had yogurt running down her small chin.
I took a bite from my toast and went over to her.
"Hello, lil Bri." I exhaled, catching her attention.
"Ava." her eyes widened and stretched her arms at me.
"You wanna go into Aunty Ava's arms?" Abbie asked her happily.
"Yes!" she squealed.
I giggled and lifted her from Abbie's lap. She wrapped her tiny arms around my neck as I held her close to my torso. Her skin was baby soft. She was only in her diapers and it was the cutest thing ever. I combed my fingers through her short dark brown hair. It was so silky and so baby-like. She was like Abbie's mini me. Their faces were so much alike. I wanted one.
