Sorry I had to leave that right there XD I just needed to make way for a cliffhanger XD

~Kiera's POV~

Kids were already screaming. Sirens were already wailing in the distance, and I knew it would actually take the authorities too long for them to get here. Some teachers were even flailing or waving their arms in the air, and sometimes I couldn't even tell the difference betweeen the students and the teachers.

I looked at Caesar. He was obviously glowing now, but Cass didn't seem to notice him. He wasn't even moving, and he was the only kid left in the ampitheater aside from me. He was waiting. But for what, I didn't know. His eyebrow was raised, and he was drumming his fingers on the armrest.

I turned my attention back to Cass. She was coming in close. She already looked like a human monster, and she was glowing with immense power. Her aura was so bright it hurt to even open my own eyes. The gravitational pull around her was so strong, it even made me get attracted to her aura. The book was about to burst open from my bag, but I
wasn't about to let it go. The journal was worth more than it looked like. I knew that now.

I looked at Cass. She smirked."Would you give me that book? Or would you rather die for it?"
