Chapter 27

Amelia's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around at my surroundings.

I was in my room, on my soft bed.

I looked to my side and saw Hunter sitting on a chair sleeping while holding my hand.

I slowly and carefully took my hand from his and hot up and quietly as I could to use the washroom.

After doing my business, I brushed my teeth and headed out the bathroom.

When I entered the room, Hunter was looking around anxiously.

He looked nervous and I realised that he was looking for me.

I went up to him while his back was facing me and hugged him from behind.

Hus head snapped up and he averted his gaze to me as best as he could.

He breathed a sigh if relief.

"Where were you? You had me worried sick. One minute I was sleeping with you right there, then the next I wake up to you not there..." He drifted off looking a bit confused with his own words.

I couldn't help but laugh at how cute he looked and how dumb he was acting.

"Its ok I'm right here and I'm ok now that you saved me." I couldn't help but smile at the thought if him saving me.

I hugged him and he hugged me back and lifted me off the ground.

He reached down to kiss me but I swiftly pulled my head back.

"Tsk tsk. Bad breath." I teased.

Hunter wined like a three year old and stumped his feet.

I had to laugh at this one.

I leaned down and gave him a Peck on the lips then pushed him in the bathroom to do his business.

"There are spare toothbrushes in the too cabinet." I called out.

"Ok babe. Thanks."

I just hummed in response and went down to make breakfast.

The incident with me being kidnapped and tortured didn't scar me or make me a coward. Once Hunter loves me and he's always there for me, nothing can change me for the worse. I know i was a mess when Hunter came to protect me, but I couldn't help it because I thought someone was coming to torture me like they always do. But now that I know I'm safe, I have nothing to worry about.

I jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder while I was mixing the pancake batter.

I turned around and was attacked by bear hugs.

I looked up and saw my mom, dad, Carissa and Tyler.

I laughed and smiled and gave them all the tightest squeeze I could.

"Omg I missed you so much!"

"Baby girl I thought I would never see you again!"

"Oh sweetie I was worried sick!"

"Mel I would've died without you!"

"I couldn't eat or sleep properly without knowing if you were ok or not!"

They were all talking at once and I couldn't keep track of who was saying what or even of what was being said.

"I'm gonna kill the bastards that ever touched you or caused this or even caused you pain!"

" YEAH!! " They all said at the same time.

"Ok! Guys I know you misses me. Believe me I missed you all too. But tiu guys need to calm down." I said carefully.

Tears started to form in my mom's eyes.

My face dropped as I thought I had caused that.

"Sweety its not your fault, its those bastards that hurt you. They scarred your entire body. Honey please don't tell me they raped you or touched you inappropriately." My mom pleaded.

"No mom. They didn't. I promise." I said quickly.

I hugged her and let her sub on my shoulders.

I couldn't help the few tears that fell from my eyes.

Soon, everyone joined in the hug, until we heard a loud sub from the kitchen door.

Our heads snapped in the direction and we saw Hunter standing there crying.

"Hunter what's wrong?" I asked worried.

He sniffed and spoke softly.

"You didn't finish making my pancakes and I'm hungry." He said in a childish tone.

We all burst out in laughter and Hunter glared at us.

I missed these lunatics so much.

And they never fail at making me feel better.

For the rest of the day, we played board games, watched movies, ate a ton of junk food, player sumo wrestling because I have the items for it and had a sleep over.

I love these guys so much.
