DON'T BE A JERK! PEOPLE DEFINITELY DON'T LIKE THAT!
If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. If you've got something not nice to say, put it in a nice way. It's called constructive criticism! If you're a jerk to people, they're definitely not going to check out your books!
Bad Example: This sucks! You can't write this is trash. Terribly written! »:(
Good Example: It could use some improvement. Perhaps some more detail. You can get help at this place! :)
How do you expect people to be nice to you if you're not nice to them.

I'm going to take a break from this for a while, meaning a couple days, not a month, which brings me to another tip:
DON'T ABANDON A BOOK FOR MONTHS! OR PEOPLE WILL LOSE INTEREST!
So I won't. I'll just take a break for a bit. I've got to get back to work on some other books!
