SOME TIPS ON GIVING CRITIQUES!
Now, rule number one! Don't give a critique unless someone asks you for one. It upsets me to no end when people criticize my work without asking me. Got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all, unles somebody asks, of course.
If they ask, let it all out. Don't hold back on your thoughts. Tell them everything great about their book, and everything that needs improvement.
They might not like it then, but they'll thank you later, when they've improved their skills, and yielded results.
Critiques are a touchy subject, so tread that ground carefully. With experience, people will flock to you and your expertise!
