DON'T ALWAYS MAKE YOUR CHARACTERS, ESPECIALLY YOUR MAIN CHARACTERS, PERFECT!
People aren't perfect. They never will be.
You see, the problem with some Wattpad authors is that their characters are always perfect.
-Blonde Hair
-Blue Eyes
-Can Overcome Everything
-Never Encounters Any Problems
-No Flaws
-Absolutely, No Doubt About It, Perfect!
Real people aren't like that, so why are many main characters?
A story is interesting when the characters have to overcome their flaws and challenges.
Sometimes they won't overcome some these challenges, which is good, because it's realistic.
Now, don't make your main character normal. Normal is boring.
Just let them have flaws, weaknesses, challenges.
But still...
MAKE THEM EPIC! EXTRAORDINARY! AMAZING! MAGICAL!
Stories are more exciting when you're not sure what will happen. So don't make it predictable, with your main character having no weaknesses.
