Stiles P.O.V

I know Derek is probably following me, but I don't really give a shit. He didn't even tell me that he has to leave! Leave me! I can't lose Derek again... I can't.

"Stiles." I hear behind me, which is Derek. I keep on walking. "Stiles!" He grabs my wrist.

"What Derek?!" I yelled angrily.

"Just let me explain!" He responded.

"I already know enough, you hid from me that you were gonna go back to the Calaveras... Now excuse me-" I pull away Derek's hand away from my wrist and start walking again but faster.

But once again he follows me at the same speed. "Stiles, I wasn't going to leave... Well, I didn't know yet."

"You still didn't tell me what happened, so, just let me to think about this, okay?" I start walking away once again, and this time, he doesn't follow me.

I get back to my house, dad is at work right now...And Derek probably won't come back here since... What happened. So now is a good time to do some more research on these shadowhunters.

There is a whole website about the tattoos called runes.

Runes, which are also known as marks, are symbols that significances many supernatural abilities that are for angels and demons. Runes are a complex runic language given to them by the Angel Raziel, for shadowhunters. Rune grant them many powers that mundanes, which are humans, do not have. Using steles, runes are burned into the shadowhunters skin.

Runes don't sound any dangerous, it wouldn't hurt if I get a rune, right? Now, where can I find a stele?

Mom must of had a stele, it has to be around the house anywhere. The basement maybe? I've never been in my basement for like a few years... Me and dad don't really go down there much, there is just boxes and stuff.

I walk downstairs and open the light. I look around for moms boxes. I see a box that says ''moms special things." Maybe it might be in there. I open the box, it is really dusty, but I see this little box rectangular-like with a note attached to it. Before I open the box, I read the note.

It's from mom.
