After a long talk with Nightlight about Katherine and stories from the past, North, Tooth, Bunny and Sandy arrived. Along with them were mum, dad, Ciara and Thomas as well as heaps of Tooth Fairies and Elves and Yetis. I ran up and hugged Mum and Dad, as well as Ciara and Thomas simultaneously.

"What's with everyone being here?" I giggled, pulling away from Thomas. Dad eyed Pitch for a moment.

"Haven't seen you in a while," Dad said, looking quite angry.

"I apologise for everything I have done. Truly," strangely, Pitch was being sincere.

"Mim had request," North said, jumping out of the sleigh with the other close behind him.

"Oh?" Jack asked.

"And what was that?" I added, walking over to hold Jack's hand.

"He wants us to make Belle a Guardian." My heart froze like the rest of my body. My breath caught in my throat.

"ME?!" I asked surprised.

"Of course! Guardian of Love! You already have a holiday and everything!" Bunny said.

"Not that you need a holiday to be a Guardian, of course," Tooth added with precaution.

"But mum never..."

"I didn't want to be a Guardian. I knew that if I became a Guardian, I would never be able to find love. If I had've become one, I would have had to live forever. But you have already found your love, and together; you can live forever," mum said, hugging up to dads arm, both of them sharing a proud smile.

"Do you think I should?" I asked Jack. He just smiled. He knew that no matter what I chose, he would be there for me.

"What do you think Thomas? Ciara?"

"I think you should do it! It's what you're good at; making people happy. Why shouldn't you be happy too?" Thomas replied, tucking his hands into the pockets of his jeans and shrugging.

"Do it!" Ciara gestured, jumping up and down with a big smile on her face. I couldn't help but wonder if she knew I wouldn't grow up like she would, or that I might not always be there for her. But it's my chance to help people, to make a difference.

"Alright! Let's do this!" I smiled confidently to Jack and my family. They all beamed back to me. North reached behind him and magically pulled out a thick, brown leather bound book, opening to the middle page.

"If you don't mind North, I would like to do this one. She's special," Mim said, the book floating out of North's hands and over to me. Mim winked when our eyes met and Nightlight and Ombric walked back to his side. Mim cleared his throat and I couldn't help but giggle with excitement. This was actually happening! I sighed in attempt to calm my nerves.

"Do you, Belle Bennett, vow to watch over the children of the world... to guard them with your life, their hopes, their wishes and their dreams, for they are all we have, all that we are and all that we will ever be?" I looked over to my family, the Guardians, the elves, yetis and fairies, and Jack. Even Pitch, holding Seraphina close, was smiling.

"I will," I said happily squeezing Jack's hand.

"Then congratulations Belle, for you are now, and forever more... a Guardian," Mim finished. My heart leapt as it sunk in. My body relaxed and I couldn't help but sigh in relief. I giggled and smiled as everyone cheered. I turned to Jack and he held both my hands together.

"Congrats Cupid..."

"Meh. Keep calling me Belle," I suggested, jokingly.

"I'll do whatever you want," Jack wrapped his arms around my waist and in turn, I wrapped mine around the back of his neck.

"I love you. Don't let me go," I said. He smiled that sexy half smile of his.

"I love you too. I promise," was all he said. I bit my lip before kissing him. After half a second from shock, he kissed me back. It was a perfect moment. A perfect day. And for myself and Jack, as long as we are there for each other, it would be a perfect eternity.

So there you have it. The story of how a girl fell in love with a boy. Not so typical, maybe, but it's the things that aren't typical that are the most magical. So next time you fall in love with someone, and it's a deep love, think of me, Cupid, for it was with my help you found that special person. If the love doesn't last, then it only proves that I was teaching you something. And those lessons I let you learn, are the ones that are going to help you find your special someone that you will spend your eternity with. I've already got some people in mind, but it's you who has to find the one. Cupid makes the path, and you make the destination. That's how it works. That's how time works. That's how the world works. And that is how love works. So please give me a head start and go out to find your first lesson, take that first step.

Because each lesson is just another stone in the path to the rest of your life.

I'll love you always, Cupidaswrfhdkahsdk

"JACK! You made me stuff up my note!! Ugh you idiot!" I giggled, running after him.

"I don't know how to work those things!"

"Icing the keyboard doesn't help!"

"Hahahaha! You love me anyway!"

"Of course I do but...Ugh! I'm gonna get you one day Frost!" I smiled, sitting back at the computer screen.

Anyway! I love you! Live your life, because you don't know when it'll end. Laugh lots because you don't know when you won't be able to anymore. And love deeply, because, well,

Love is the closest thing we have to magic.

The End
