The Truth Is Bigger Than It Seems

I needed to tell him, but I wasn't sure how he would take it. I could think of numerous of reactions that could happen. I was so scared. He grabbed both of my hands and held them to his chest. My hands shook violently as he held them. Concern painted all over his features. His eyes beckoned me to go on. "You know the night Dena and Evi were conceived?" He nodded confused of where I was going with this. "Our last night together." He signed slowly, letting go of my hands to sign. My hands dropped to my sides. I couldn't help but shift uncomfortably, not of how to tell someone I love that I was raped and I had his kid. "Could you sit down please." He oblidged and sat down on the hay and moss bed. I started panicking, my heart beating out of my chest. I started pacing back forth, my anxiety kicking in. Unsure if I should drop the subject or run out the door. "Nia." Caesar stopped me for a second with his voice but I continues pacing as if I didn't hear him. I stopped as I felt a hand clasp around left wrist. "What bothers you so that you continue to walk with unease?" I let out a shaky sigh as he brushed his rough yet soft knuckles on my cheek softly. "Evi is not your daughter." He stopped moving. Unsure of what to do I stood there scared out of my mind. He dropped his hands and turned his back to me about to walk away but stopped four feet away. "Who is the father?" He asked, his voice sounding betrayed and shock. He's trying to hide his pain but its as clear as day for me. "It's Kobas...he came into our room a couple hours after you left a-and forced himself in me.." He started shaking a bit and turned at an increble speed and smashed his right fist into the tree that held this incredible home up. He held it there for a minute as blood started seeping from his knuckles and into the broken bark on the tree. It seeped slowly down the tree as his breathing became hard and shaky. I watched as his chest heaved up and down rapidly. I walked towards him and reached my hand out to touch him. Just as I was about to grab him he grabbed my arm and slammed him against the tree with his left arm making me panic. "C-Caesar?" I asked as my head started asking questions. He held his arm there with a strong gaze. His strong gaze faultered along with his once strong features. His arms weakened around me and he pushed me harder in the wall his body, not harming me. Tears streamed out of his eyes and dropped onto my dirty shirt. He put his head in the crook of my neck and let out soft sobs and cries here and there as he mumbled. "I-I'm so sorry I wasn't there to protect you. I should have stayed with you." I shook my head. "I don't care what horrible thing happened in the past all I care about is that I have you, the kids, and my brothers." I wrapped my arms around his head and held him tight. "How did this happen? They are twins." I understood from his curiosity that it was weird. I pulled apart from him and lead him to the bed and sat him down. "There's this thing called Biparental which is a females egg with two different fathers. So Evi is Kobas and Dena is yours." He looked somewhat confused as he sat there staring down. "How do you know Dena is mine?" I couldn't help but smile. "She's a lot more like you than you know. Plus Evi seems a little shut off and I often worry about her." I turned to lay down on the bed but he turned me around to face him. "I'm sorry. I did not react very well and I'm sorry I hurt you." I smiled and pulled him down to me. "I didn't expect you to be less violent but I guess age does that to you huh?" I smirked. He playfully flicked my head and made a small chuckle. "You are still young and smart but you are also a dummy." He spoke with a tint of laughter in his voice. I couldn't help but laugh with him. Our laughter died down as he pulled his face down closer to me. "I love you no matter what Nia."

This is the longest chapter I've written in so long. I hope you guys liked it! Man I was so unsure of what to do for the reaction. Oh well.
