A Love Story

Pake I

Jake's POV.
I've been in my car for the past few hours, thinking. I necessary don't know why? I've just been taking a nap mainly. My phone was on the other car seat next to me and all of the sudden I heard the phone vibrate, someone was calling me,
It was Piper. The girl that Im in love with since the day we knew about each other, but she doesn't notice my love for her.

I reached for the phone and answered it.
"Hello?" I said
"Hey, Jake?" Piper said
"Yea, it's me" I confessed
"Yea, it's me too, Pipes, remember?" She teased.
"Yea what's up, it's been a while" I said.
"Are You busy" she asked me.
"No, why what's wrong" I said worrying.
"Nothing's wrong" she said, sounding faulty.
When she says there's nothing wrong, there is always something wrong.
"Come to Paper Cafe" she said, after a second, she then hung up.

I checked my watch, it was 6pm, I've been in the car for 3hours already, and now I have somewhere to go. I started my car and headed to Paper/Plastick Cafe. It took about 25 minutes to get there, and about 5 minutes to find a place to park. I got out of my car and went towards the cafe.

And I saw Piper through the glass window, she was playing with her phone and looked around, she saw me. I paused, she waved her hand saying come in, I reckon. I think it started to look weird for people inside to look at me as my nose was pressing against the glass, so I decided to walk in and sit next to her.

Piper's POV.
I insisted Jake to come sit with me, and he did.
"For a second, I thought you were gonna get hit by a car" I joked
"Pretty sure I was" he said
"So I already ordered, Iced cocoa for you, and a strawberry milkshake for me, and we'll have eat later or something" I suggested

Later on..

Our drinks came and Jake took a drink of his cocoa
"Ahh!!! Brain freeze!!!" He said pressing his head

I laughed out loud, he's so funny, he always finds a way to make me laugh.
"Okay, okay" he said. "What is it?" He asked
I sighed....
"I broke up with him" I said
"Charlie?" He said, puzzled
"Yes, you were right, he was wrong for me" I said taking a sip of my drink
"Jerk" he said comforting me
"Thanks" I said as I felt a little more happy.
"guys that I've dated don't seem to care about me, only to show off to their friends" I mentioned

Jake's POV.
I care about you, I said in a thought, I've been in love with you ever since the day we've known each other. She was generous, nice and thoughtful, I would be good for her.

"But anyways, that's why I invited you here" Piper said
"Why?" I asked
"You make me feel better" She said
We both smiled, and started laughing

We talked most of the evening, and had dinner.
I wish I could tell her how I feel...
