Rove III

Dove's POV.
"Joey!! What are you doing here?!!" I yelled at him in a happy tone
"Me and Aubrey decided to come on a picnic, like you guys. Who would have thought we'd meet here" he said excitedly
He got a blanket from his picnic basket and laid it in the ground near our bench.
"Here's a wild idea, let's make it a double date" Aubrey suggested.
"Haha okay sure" Ryan said.

Ryan's POV.
Man, we were about to lean in for a kiss than it had to be Joey who ruined it. But I don't blame him, Yes I Do!! Anyways it was half an hour later, and Joey and his date were still eating stuff from their picnic basket. Than dove had a wild idea.

"Um, Ryan let's sneak out" she said smiling at me
"Way ahead of you" I replied

We slowly got up and walked away without them looking at us.

Dove's POV.
I followed Ryan along the side walk, wondering where he was taking me. And then he came across a huge shady tree and suggested we sat there. So we sat.

"I hope Joey doesn't interfere" I said
We both laughed.
We talked and talked for the whole minute.
"Why is your name Dove?" He ask
"My mom loves doves" I said
"Who's that walking towards us?" Ryan asked

"JOEY"

"Guys!!! Why'd you run off" he shouted.
I was very annoyed with Joey right now so I decided to go up and talk to him

"I'll be right back Ryan" I said
I ran to Joey.
"Joey can't you understand this!! Me and Ryan wanting to be alone" I pointed out
"But I want it to be a double date" he said in a sad tone
"I'm going to ask him a very important question Joey, and if you keep interfering, I won't have a chance" I said
"Ooooooh what are you going to ask him!!??" He said all jazzed up
"Will you go to the black and white ball with me" I said
"Oh yea, the black and white ball!! I'm waiting for Audrey to ask me" he said
"Where is Audrey?" I asked
"I ditched her back, she'll have plenty of time to practice how to ask me" he said
"So please, go away" I said
"Okay sis!! Good luck" he said, blinking and walked off

Why is this so hard? The girls asking the guys. Isn't it suppose to be the other way round??

I walked to Ryan
"Ryan, can I ask you something?" I asked
"Yea, sure" he said
"Well, there's the black and white ball coming up and -
(I saw Joey and Audrey heading this way, but they stopped far away to see what was happening)

"Will you go with me to the black & white ball?" I said with a friendly smile

"Sorry we can't..." He said

What???
He turned me down

What up writers!! How was this chapter of Dove and Ryan. It was very unexpected, was it?
