In the wizard world, werewolves came about when a wizard casted a spell that simply went wrong. The spell no longer exists and has been forgotten. Only 3 wizards in the world know of the spell. The one who casted it, the one who witnessed it, and the one of the future. The one of the future? What does that mean? Closing the book I looked around at all the wizard things in the lair. We have a session soon. We'll be learning about spells for use only against dark times. Tomorrow's Monday and I'm dreading to go back to school. Simply because Bobby ditched me on the last second saying "something came up... I'm sorry." I don't want to see his face. I don't want to see the football team either. When Savannah cleaned Mason's cut, they got into a huge argument. It went along the lines of, "I can't do everything for you Mason! I'm not just going to give into anything you say!" And then he replied with something like, "I never asked you to do anything for me! You're allowed to say no Savannah!" That was the first time he ever called her by her full name. They haven't talked since that night. The tension is unreal. Barry has gotten bigger and Aunt Shelia still has no idea about him. We're keeping him in the Commons. He's gotten big enough where he can talk. Phoenix's talk in Latin but Barry talks in French. He apologized to me. Aunt Sheila is acting strange lately. Ever since the day we met Ja'Close everything has been strange. With Jasmine and Victoria being elves to Nolan being a werewolf. Ezra got up one night when I was studying about the history of wands. He told he has been having bad dreams about the ring Ja'Close was wearing. Ezra was almost to tears and I hugged him till he calmed down. As for Craig he's in San Diego visiting some big wizard business.
The next morning, to say awkward was an understatement. Mason was on his phone talking to Lexi while Savannah had her face stuck in a book. "Good morning!" Our neighbor Torrance said. I did a head nod walking in her direction. "Kate, we're gonna be late!" Ezra said. "I'll meet up with you guys later!" "Hey Torrance!" I told her. "Are you over here to ask for more sugar?" She said laughing. "Actually no, I just have a question." I told her looking around. "Uh ok what is it?" She said slowly. "You haven't seen anything suspicious lately, have you?" I asked her. "The only suspicious thing I've seen is Mason not acting like a fuck up." She said laughing. I laughed with her, "Yeah, some weird things have been happening lately but I better go. I'll see you later." "Yeah, me back to home school hah, have fun at public." She said in a mocking tone. Going around the corner I bumped right into somebody and fell on my ass. Sadly this has happened plenty of times before. The person or guy helped me up and I got to see his face. John Charleston. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! Here let me help you!" He lifting me up with ease. Which is weird considering he's tiny. "Uh no it's fine." I said trying to let go of his grip. He seemed to notice this and let go immediately. "Wait your Kate? Yeah, we have 5th hour together. Well looks like we're both late wanna walk to school with me?" He asked. "Yeah right John? Sure I'll walk with you." He nodded. I decided to start a conversation because I need some facts, "So, you're on the football team right? Happy you're going to state?" "Oh! Definitely, I quite shocked, our team sucked last year." He said laughing. "Hah yeah and you're cousins with the McVeys?" I said getting to the point. "Yeah we actually all live together. The McVeys, Browns, and Charlestons. It's a bit chaotic huh? I just feel bad for Kyah, she's the only girl." He said looking at me. "Wow that's a lot of people." I commented. He laughed and asked me how my morning was going. "By far no morning has been worse and I've had some shit mornings." I told him thinking about my friends. "Awh, that sucks but I hope your day gets better. Can I consider you a friend now?" He said. Friend? What? He wanted to be friends? "Uh yeah friends." I told him while giving him a high five.
By the time lunch came around I updated everyone on what happened. Except for Mason. He's sitting with Lexi. Victoria and Jasmine came and sat at our table. "Hey guys!" Jasmine said taking a seat next to me. "Yeah hey." Victoria said looking at all of us. We held eye contact until she sat down. Ezra looked over at me and shook his shoulders. I'll see if she can read my mind or not. Victoria hello. She rolled her eyes. Hi Kate. Woah wait we can talk in our minds to each other? I have telekinesis whoever I talk to, they can talk back. Does it make you feel weird I know you're an elf? Not really because I know you won't tell anyone because I know your secret. Then let's let everyone else in the conversation. "We know you're wizards and we know you all know we're elves." Jasmine said smiling. Savannah looked shocked. "That's cool. Just as long as you don't say anything to anybody." Ezra said to the sisters. "Yay! But we actually have to go work on a project but we'll see you all later!" Jasmine said while dragging Victoria with her. "How do we know they won't say anything?" Savannah asked. "You can trust them." Ezra said. He's really good at judging people. So we took his word for it. "I haven't seen Bobby all day." I whined. "He's right there chill." Savannah said pointing him out. He's sitting next to John. John looked over at us and told Harry something. "Don't look now my new friend is coming over." I told Savannah smiling. "Holy shit, ok how do I look?" She asked touching her hair. "You look great." Ezra said not even looking up. "Hey Kate! Is it ok if we sit here?" John asked me. "Go ahead. These are my friends Savannah and Ezra." I pointed to them. "Oo alright hi I'm John and this is my cousin Harry." John said pushing Harry's elbow. "H-hi." Savannah stuttered. For fucks sake did she have to stutter. I could feel eyes on us and looking around there was Mason staring Harry down. "Oh yeah, you know Mason?" Harry asked Savannah. "Uh yeah but we're currently mad at each other." She said without stuttering. Harry laughed, "Well good, he's an ass and nobody at our table likes him. Well since an incident happened but that doesn't matter." Savannah and Ezra and I all looked at each other. Even though she's mad at Mason we still stick together no matter what. "Yeah he can definitely be an ass." She said laughing as well. "But he's still like a brother to me so watch what you say Harry." I told him. "Right because I'm so scared of you." He said back. Savannah just nervously laughed. "Anyways! You do know your girlfriend hates me and she's like glaring over here." Savannah said fast. "Who? Oh Jane, yeah we broke up." Harry said with almost relief in his voice. Trying to hide her smile Savannah just nodded her head probably not trusting her voice right now. I just remembered I have to go talk to Mr. Blank about my grade. "Hey guys I gotta go see Mr. Blank. I'll see you all later." I told them. Savannah was like begging me not to go with her eyes. But a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Not really. When I turned the hall I saw Lexi and Mason talking. Not wanting them to see me I stayed where I was. "Listen Mason, I care about you and I think you should stop hanging with those freaks. They're no good for you, I am." Lexi told him.Are you serious right now. I swear if Mason says anything ba-. "Lexi what the fuck!? They're my friends and my family. They've been with me no matter what.I mean I care about you too but, you can't just decide my life for me." Mason told her back slightly moving her out the way. "Mason don't make me do this." "Do wha-" It happened so fast. She bit him. Lexi Hoff was a vampire and she just bit Mason. Pulling out my wand so this bitch could back the fuck up I said a spell, "Turn this demon away and let the blood decay, While the boy will be okay." Lexi face went into horror while Mason looked to me with relief. Mason pulled out his wand and said, "Let her memory erase while she puts a disgrace." "Why that spell?" I asked him. "She pissed me off no matter what's going on, you, Savannah, and Ezra will always be there." He said while the bell rang. We dragged Lexi to the janitor's closet. "I miss Sav, do you think she'll talk to me?" Mason said scratching the back of his head. "She's pissed give her some time and don't ruin it for her with Harry." I glared at him. He squinted his eyes, "I don't trust him." "Just because his brother almost ate you doesn't mean he is bad." Mason rolled his eyes. "Where's your lover boy? And why did he ditch you?" This time I rolled my eyes. "Can you not be such a dick all the time. And all he said was something came up and I didn't see him in first hour." I said frowning a bit. "Maybe he just doesn't want to do the project with you." Mason suggested. Maybe he didn't. "Hey I didn't mean it like that I'm sure he's just a busy guy." He said poking my cheek. I just wish I knew what was up with that guy.
