Two days since Mason left. Three days until Ezra, Savannah, and Mason pick their fate. Five days until we go against Henry Hale. Aunt Sheila told us Mason still has to show up in the Castaways Hall to pick a side anyways. You could tell she was sad about Mason and what he's done. Craig told the underground is very dangerous. It's mixed with mortals and creatures from the wizard world. I want to go down there just to at least warn Mason about Fate Day. No. Absolutely not. Did you forget Henry Hale is there? It's not like Henry Hale will be there when I go. He's probably a busy guy. Right, Carter? No, Kate don't go if you do I'll tell everyone. Blackmail is not nice, don't you have a girlfriend to worry about. I didn't get a reply back. Aunt Sheila just turned the lights out. Therefore, I can go warn Mason and be back before anyone notices. The only problem was, I don't know where the underground starts. Boys locker room. Where Mason got attacked first. Meet me there and I'll show you. See I wouldn't of been freaked out if I knew who this person was. But I had no idea who was in my head and why they want to show me the underground. As I left the house I smelled smoke as I cornered a building. I stopped myself because I heard talking as well. "Listen here, if you let these halfies make a fool of Master Henry, I swear you'll wish you never picked light." It was a very familiar voice but the next voice was a no doubt who is was. "Aren't you supposed to be my dad? Threatening your own sweet pea. Shame. These halfies won't make Henry Hale look like a fool. They'll make him dead. Gone. Wishing he never wanted more." The sweet southern drawl of Daralyn. Then I heard a slap sound. "You do not talk to me like that! These halfies don't know, they'll want just like Master did. He'll make them his power." The other voice said. "Exactly. He'll make them his power. Hale's intentions are to destroy all light and to collide the worlds. Meaning your only daughter would be gone. Meaning this world will be in more shit. As if it isn't already. Sweet pea, you have no idea what's heading your way. Keep acting like you do and see where it gets you." Then I heard another slap and footsteps. The figure walked right past me and I realized who it was. Ja'Close. "Well, let me guess you heard all of that." Her voice scared me. I took in her appearance which her left cheek had a bloody red print on it. With a movement of her hand it was gone. "Why'd he slap you?" I asked. She took in a drag and ignored my question. "Isn't a shame what greed and manipulation can do. You should get back home sweet pea. I don't even wanna know what you're doing out this late." I had to come up with a quick lie. "I'm walking to my friends house." She squinted her eyes but agreed anyways. "Just be careful. Get a lot of sleep. You need as much energy as possible to take out that bastard." I nodded and we made separate ways.

I walked up to the locker room, expecting someone waiting outside. Maybe this was a test. I went to go open the door and it was unlocked. Which shocked me a lot. It was pitch black, I took my wand out and I couldn't believe what I saw. Scratches and blood marks all over the lockers. I got closer and it read, In which Hale takes over, all of us shall be gone. With every thing we ever started, shall be demolished. Beware. When I read it, saying I was creeped out was an understatement. I was scared shitless and I wanted to leave. I hate the dark and here I am waiting for someone, probably Victoria and Jasmine fucking with me. A big bang landed right next to my head. I screamed. "Keep it down! Come here, AJ!" It was a nasally voice. I turned around and there stood the one and only Alexia. And that bang that almost killed me was her big black book. "Ugh, every single one of you people always call it my "big black book," I'll have you know his name is AJ." I nodded. "Why did you want to meet me here? And what's up with this blood and scratches." I asked her. She pushed her glasses up and held AJ. Her nails were so long they could be a pocket knife. Painted blood red with black patterns on the middle. "Well, I've been wanting to meet up with you. I would've if it wasn't for that damn Bob guy. And Tori and Flower girl. As for these scratches, it was the clan." She motioned for me to follow. We were in the showers when she turned on the faucet and the tile lead went into a staircase. "The clan? What's going on now?" I asked. "Impatient. I was getting there. Now shut up and let me talk. As you know in a few days, you're going to go dark and Henry will be your new master. The two worlds will clash and Hell will break loose." She laughed at her pun. "As for the other creatures, they'll all die. Except for the vampires because they're bound to darkness already. Meaning the wizards in the Castaways Hall will be wiped out and then original vampire will make her appearance and her and Henry will rule the world. Well that's the plan at least." This was a lot to take in. Kylie Crater, the original vampire, had a thing with Henry Hale. "No. They didn't have a thing but she wanted a thing he just didn't like her as he was into someone else." I should of asked a question like 'How do you know?,' but I didn't. Instead I asked, "Who's he into?" She smirked. "The one who took out Miss Kylie." I stopped walking. Aunt Sheila? "If I were you I would keep walking. The rats aren't normal size down here." I took her advice and sped up. "So why did you want me here? Why did you tell me this?" She took a breath and told AJ to be quiet. "I'm working on the inside. I know Henry Hale personally as he knew my great grandmother. She took care of him after he lived on the streets. I don't like what he plans to do. His mind is set in evil. The only way to stop him is obviously you halfies. I'm taking you down here because you can get information from three people on the inside. Me, Mason, and Peavy. We'll help you. Mason is just having a rough time. Once you halfies take out Hale, the entire dark wizards shall be gone." Peavy? Down here? In the underground? Who would've known. She came to a stop. "They can't see you like this. Hale knows a halfie. He can probably already smell you. AJ give me a spell to hide the half." AJ opened, bright golden pages. He stopped near the back of the book. "Ah yes, I should've known." She didn't have a wand and she looked at me. "For the time of emergencies, the time of right, the time of bad, make these fellows, blind, to the right of half." She nodded. "They can't see in their right eyes." I nodded and we made our way towards what seemed to be another staircase. Or behind the staircase. We walked in and there was Peavy selling drugs and Mason smoking a cigarette. What the hale? I laughed a bit making that, but Alexia just rolled her eyes. Peavy saw me first. "Kate? What are you doing here?" His accent was just as bad as Daralyn's. Alexia answered for me, "She wanted to tell Mason something and I needed to inform her on a few things." Peavy nodded and sat down on what looked like a mini throne. "You shouldn't be here. It's dangerous, whatever you need to tell me could of waited." Mason said is his usual jerk voice. I rolled my eyes. "You are aware you still have to show up on Fate Day?" He nodded looking down. "I'm picking dark, Kate. There's nothing you can say to change it." I nodded. "But when me and the others take out Henry, all the darks will be gone." He rolled his eyes. "As if. C'mon, that's never going to happen. I already said, he's too powerful. And plus if you go dark, we can be good friends again." I shook my head. "We can't be good friends without Savannah. I'm not going dark Mason. I might as well just kill myself." Peavy made a scrunched face. "Ouch. Don't you think that's a little too far. Being dark wouldn't be all that bad." Mason pointed to Peavy as if he was right. "I'm not here to change your mind. I'm just here to warn you. Shit's going to go down. Whether you're dark or light. And last I remember, you owe me. So, you could help me or not. In the end, at least we tried." I told him. He looked down. "You should go before he comes." I locked my jaw. No matter what, Mason will always be an ass. Alexia said she'll walk me out. Peavy was reading AJ and Alexia slapped him on his head. As we walked out everyone stood against the wall. I heard Alexia swear and told me not to move and just act like the others. That's when I saw him. Henry Hale in the flesh. He looked different than I ever imagined. He was gorgeous. Bright golden blonde hair. Golden brown eyes that match. He literally took my breath away. How the fuck is he the most powerful wizard and evil villain? He's too gorgeous for this job. We made eye contact, and I swear his eyes went from the golden brown to straight gold. He bit his lip, which was hot. He started walking our way and Alexia made a movement of her hand and someone else screamed, "Henry Hale do you have some salt? Because I think you're being a bit salty." He snapped his head and headed that way. Alexia grabbed my arm and I was so mesmerized by him I didn't realize we were almost out of the underground.

The next day, I couldn't focus. All I thought about was Henry Hale. I expected some guy with a scar down his face not a fucking model. "Kate.....Kate!" Nathaniel was snapping in my face. Aaron threw a Grape at my forehead. He started laughing when it bounced off. "What's going on? Ever since you woke up, you've been in a daze." I put my elbows on the table and leaned forward. "Nothing. I just-." I cut myself off. What would they think if I told them I went underground. What would they think if I told them I went and saw Mason along with Peavy. What would they think if I told them I saw Henry Hale in the flesh. Looking nothing like I imagined. They wouldn't believe me. They'd think I just had a dream. Aaron threw another grape at me. I glared at him, "Sorry, it slipped." He said laughing. I looked over at Cara and Carter playing some card game while, totally flirting. I looked at Savannah and Logan and just thought how that used to be her and Mason. I looked at Ezra feeding a fish realizing it was Barry but he had a spell put on him. I looked at Nathaniel who just joined the couch playing a video game. And then I looked at Aaron who was already looking at me. He gave me a questioning glance. I couldn't help but to blurt out, "What if Mason's right? What if we're all going dark. This would never be the same." He took a bite out of his strawberry. He was building a fruit mansion. "What if next week we'll all being exactly what we're doing now? You can't have negative thoughts Kate. Doubt is going to get you nowhere. If worst comes to worst at least we'll be dark together." He said the last sentence with a wink. I smiled and took a orange slice making the wall fall down. Aaron's eyes went huge. "Kate! Why would you do that?! Ezra was going to do a spell and make it life size. Ugh!" He complained. "Thanks Aaron. I appreciate you getting rid of my doubt." He smiled, "Well yes you are very welcome but now I must destroy you." I widen my eyes and ran. He always seemed to make things worry free.
