My Promise To You [COMPLETE]

Chapter 6: We're Home

-Natsu's P.O.V-

"Why do you guys look so different?!" I questioned in pure shock.

"N-Natsu..." Max told me.

"What happened?" I heard Bisca ask a few members.

As she asked that, a little girl appeared. She wore a light pink dress with certain designs on it, had green eyes and long, faded blonde hair. She had tiny wings on her head. Her voice was soothing when she began to speak to us.

"My name is Mavis Vermillion. I am the first master of Fairy Tail," she introduced herself.

"HUH?!" Everyone including me said.

"When Acnologia attacked the island, I took the strength of everyone's bonds and faith. I converted it into one of the three great Fairy Magics," Mavis explained.

Everyone looked hopeful and grateful. Gramps was also crying.

She continued, "With all of your thoughts, the spell, Fairy Sphere, activated. That magic protects anyone from any evil."

"Arigato, Master Mavis!" I thanked her. But there was a catch.

"However...everyone inside the sphere was in a frozen state and seven years had passed by," she also added.

Everyone froze in shock and disappointment. A few members were wondering what had happened throughout the years. I realized something after that.

"We have to go back...immediately," I said in a low voice.

"Um...okay. We have a boat to take us back," Alzack told me. The thought of it made me sick. Thankfully, Wendy had put the Triora spell on me so that I wouldn't mind transportation. It was going to be a long sail.

But as we were traveling back, I must have looked super gloomy, because Happy and everyone else would come by, asking me what was wrong and all that. I would shake my head, ignoring their questions, but Lucy knew what was up. I leaned my body over the edge of the boat and looked out into the ocean.

"It's about (Y/N), isn't it...?" Lucy came up to me. She looked worried.

"Yeah...I kinda broke our promise..." I told in a sad way.

Lucy thought about it and asked, "What promise did you make with her?"

I realized that we never told anyone about our promise. I trusted Lucy, so it wouldn't hurt to tell her, "We were supposed to stay together until the day we died. We wanted to grow up together and have many adventures."

"That's a nice promise to make," Lucy gave me a soft smile.

"But...since seven years have passed, I never got to see her grow up."

~Time Skip~

By the time we got back to Magnolia, we noticed that our guild base wasn't the same. It was tiny, and it was placed at the edge of the town. It looked old too. We heard shouting and arguing from the inside the base. When we entered, the one shouting wasn't a Fairy Tail member. He and some other people that were with him were threatening everyone for money.

I decided to kick their leader's ass.

"Shit, is it the Valkyrie?!" One of the attackers questioned in fear.

"Hah? Who's that?" I asked. Everyone else knocked out the other enemies.

All of us entered the building and was smiling at the members who were already waiting for us.

"We're back!" I called out with a toothy grin on my face.

The rest of them came up to us and embraced us. We were greeted with smiles and crying members. We soon had a party, an during that time, I noticed Romeo staring at me, as though it was all a dream.
