The town of Magnolia was as colorful as ever, as the town had decorated it's streets with lights, streamers, and ornaments. Many sweets and treats were handed out for all the good little children who walk by the shops, and presents were being handed out to family members.

As for the guild members in Fairy Tail, everyone was pitching in to prepare for the holidays at Kardia Cathedral.

Juvia, Lucy, and a couple more members were sweeping and cleaning up the inside of the church. Elfman and everyone else had placed a massive evergreen tree in front of the entrance of the building. Everyone had cheered once it was completely up.

"Wuah~! Such a big Christmas tree!" Asuka cheered.

"Well, let's help decorate it," you heard Bisca say to her daughter, Asuka.

"Yeah!" The little girl smiled brightly at her mother.

You, who was using your own wings to hang up the ornaments, faced Eris. He had a Santa hat on his head. His cheeks and little nose were bright red from the cold air.

"It's always fun to decorate a Christmas tree with the people closest to you," Carla mentioned.

"Yes, it is," said Eris. You grinned, hanging a couple ornaments around the tree.

The two of you saw Erza, in a Christmas outfit, sliding down a white rope that had hung on the roof of the guild base.

"The tree is in order!" Erza announced.

"Erza, that dress looks very nice on you!" Wendy called out to her.

She looked up with a grin. "Really?"

Eris then added, "She looks happy."

"That's because it's Christmas Eve," said Wendy. You all laughed with her.

"Ah, min'na, I'm gonna go inside and see how everyone else is doing. Is that alright?" You asked.

They all nodded their heads, and they continued to put decorations on the tree. You unsummoned your wings and dropped down to the ground. You ran inside the cathedral, where you could hear Cana ordering everyone around to work hard. Makarov and Cana were drinking to their hearts content, but you assumed that Makarov was already drunk.

"The town of Magnolia held a Shirogo, which really, really helped! Now, we are going to return the gratitude this year!" slurred Makarov.

"Yeah!" Cana cried with him. She poured him another cup.

"Make that corner sparkle!" Gramps blurted out to one of your members.

You sweat dropped, walking over to Lucy and Juvia, who were still working hard into making the place look clean.

"Look at them, drinking since this morning!" Lucy complained.

"What's wrong with that? It's Christmas Eve!" You exclaimed.

"Ah, (Y/N)! Is everyone done decorating the tree?" Juvia asked you.

You shook your head and smiled. "No, but I just came down here to check on everyone."

You heard yelling and arguing from above everyone.

"Oi! Where are you cleaning?! It's still dirty here!" You heard Natsu angrily say.

"That's supposed to be your area!" argued Gray.

"Too noisy. Shut up and clean," said Gajeel, who was very annoyed with the two.

They were arguing as always. Juvia was talking about how today was a special day about couples, and Lucy said that the three of them doubt that they really know anything about romance.
