Chapter 32: Jackal

A/N: Look at that! It's one Tartarus' 12 demons! He's not just good looking, he can blow you up with his explosive power!

"NEE-CHAN, WAKE UP!"

You opened your eyes right away. You had a terrible headache, and when you sat up, it felt as though you had a hangover. You looked out a window, and seemed like it was midday.

"Nanda...kore?" You mumbled, holding your forehead.

"Oh my god, your awake!" cried Natsu. "You've been asleep for two days! I had some weird dream on one of them, but I forgot about it, and the only thing I remember about it was that it was talking about you and some war."

'So it was real.'

"So...what are you doing here?" You questioned him, arching a brow.

He closed his eyes, and furrowed his eyebrows. Natsu only did this if he was seriously pissed, except he didn't try to burn anything around him this time.

"It's Laxus and the Raijinshuu. They were attacked by a guild called Tartarus earlier today," he informed you. "The most recent council members were murdered, too."

Irk marks appeared on his forehead, while fire burned in his eyes. Your eyes widened, realizing that this is what Zeref had warned you about. Eris then appeared from the corner of the room, which you didn't notice, and walked towards you.

"Natsu-san told me the details. We have to protect the ex-council members from Tartarus," he said. You nodded your head.

After a change of clothing, you headed off to your assigned ex-council member so that your group can protect him. Luckily, Loke know where he was, so it wasn't so hard to get there.

-Time Skip (Because I'm busy with "hell" school)-

The seven of you一you, Natsu, Lucy, Wendy, and the exceeds一had made it to one of the former council members house. His name was Michello, an old man with cat ears and a tail, with a bushy mustache. He was very tiny.

Lucy explained the situation to him in his house, and he just stood in front of you, listening to everything she said. "Please. Let us serve as your bodyguards in the mean time."

"We'll protect you," said Natsu.

"Let us protect you," you told him.

He replied with a raspy voice, "I appreciate it, but this is an intrusion. How did you even get my address?"

Happy stepped forward with a grin. "Oh come on! We're fellow cats, right?"

He then asked him who the cat was. But he knew what kind of guild Fairy Tail was. He told all of you that it was a troublesome guild, and you wanted to use him as a decoy.

"Tch. Whether we're here or not, Tartarus has you in their sights, old man," Eris said with annoyance.

"Give me a break! Like I'd be dumb enough to stay with you, now that I know they're after me!" He cried out. "I'm leaving, and don't come after me!"

A girl's voice came from the back of the living room. When she came out, she wore a frilled, white and violet dress, and her braided hair was the color of brownish orange. In her hands was a tray that had cups of what seemed to be tea.

"Ojii-chan, you're being so rude to the people who came all the way for your safety!" She said.

He turned around, and the tone in his voice was quieter, "Michelia..."
