Chapter 13: Natsu vs Jiemma

You, Eris, Lucy, and Natsu walked over to our guild inn to prepare your guild's mini celebration on winning your first points at the Grand Magic Games. You were glad that you actually had a chance to win this time. But, you had business that you to attend to, which was meeting up with Acnologia before heading towards the guild bar so that he could get updated on the events.

You and Eris flew out of the city after reminding your guild mates, to get to a clear, open area. There, Acnologia was sitting on the ground in his human form, while many small birds were resting on him as he sat still. You sat down with him, and Eris joined you. The both of you waited for him to respond to your presence. He looked up at you with sudden movement, making all the birds fly away.

"I heard that Fairy Tail gained their first points today, is that true?" He asked, arching a brow.

"We did. The battles were interesting and some were slightly boring. But it seems like the games doesn't celebrate for the Dragon King," you nonchalantly explained.

"There was no killing, am I correct?" He asked.

Eris spoke up, "Yes, sir. The battles consist of them knocking them out with strength or having the time run out."

"I see...(Y/N), I want you to join the event that stands, tomorrow. I would like to see your power as the dragon princess in front of the crowd," said Acnologia.

You nodded my head, replying to his command. "Hai. I won't disappoint you."

"Let me see the Dragon Insignia that is on your arm," he requested.

You were a bit taken back, but you took the bandage off your right forearm and showed it to him. The blue and black marks were still intact with the dragon symbol on it. Acnologia put him thumb on your wrist, and it started to glow blue. The marks on his body and your arm started to glow as well.

"Father, what are you doing?" You asked him.

"I'm giving you more power. What else would I be doing?" He said.

'Taking my insignia away...' you thought.

You looked down at your arm, which wasn't glowing anymore, and you noticed that the symbols got bigger. It stretched up to your shoulders and now it covered your entire limb.

"This is too suspicious!" You hissed. But you felt a surge of magic rushing up and down your arm.

"That's why you wear a bandage." Acnologia crossed his arms. "But...I can make it shrink by placing most of it in a lacrima."

"Why didn't you do that in the first place?!" You questioned him in an annoyed tone. Eris held in a laugh.

He placed his thumb on your wrist once more. You felt the power flow out of you, and you saw the marks receding to your hand. Acnologia held his hands together. Blue energy was forming in the palm of his hands, and he created a small, crystal ball. Once he was finished, he handed it to you. You took a piece of string from your cloak, and tied it around the lacrima, tying it around your neck.

You sighed. Eris was still sitting next to you, but he was examining the small symbols and marks, along with the new, tiny lacrima. He didn't really have power like you. His transformation magic can turn him into a human, but that only increased his strength and dexterity.

"Eris, hold out your hand. I will give you some of my power like (Y/N). You will have to cover your arm," informed Acnologia.

Eris nodded and held his human arm out while the dragon did the same thing. Blue marks started creeping up his arm, like an infection spreading throughout the body. Eris looked scared, with his eyes wide open as he saw the marks, but he didn't say anything.
