Zack was kind enough to give me some time to prepare myself before I would start learning about CoDas and the world. While I relaxed for the two days Zack gave me, he told me about what had happened during my sleep and in all honesty, my first reaction was pure fear of what would have happened if I wasn't under Zack's and Emily's watch. I started thinking of the possible outcomes of what could have occurred. I thought a lot of 'what if's' and 'why's' but in the end, I am just thankful for Zack and Emily being there to take care of me.

Zack told me to wake up early, somewhere around 9 AM. I washed my face and looked in the mirror. I was still in the same hotel, it was a place for CoDas to hang out after all and Zack told me that we'll be here 'till the HQ reserves a room for us to stay in.

Honey Yellow, huh? I thought to myself.

It reminded me of the first time I witnessed my right eye change colors, I stayed awake the whole night, looking at the mirror. Just staring at it. I remember that my eye color was Violet on that day and that I stared intently at the mirror as the clock hit midnight.

That was when my right eye suddenly flashed into multiple colors, I was in utter awe, watching my own eye shine in hundreds of different colors, from ocean blue to cloudy gray to lush green to sunset orange, it kept on changing until it turned into a new base color. Which was olive green, it felt like a dream to me at that moment but I came to realize it was the reality.

I leaned closer to the mirror and opened my eyes widely to get a better look at it, I guess today will be a lucky day.

If I get any color in the yellow spectrum, I consider the day to be a lucky one because that means both of my eyes were in the same color spectrum, my right eye was yellow and my left was yellow. It's like the 'yellow car' game that kids play, it's so rare to see one in yellow that you would consider it a valuable color.

I didn't really need to prepare much, I just wore a natural yellow T-Shirt, and some comfy black sweatpants, Bumblebee sports shoes and black hoodie which Zack got for me. You probably guessed by now that yellow is my favorite color so this type of clothing was perfect for me.

There was one thing in the back of my head while I was getting ready, I was wondering that how CoDas are able to get access to clothes, we're spirits, nothing we feel or touch is physical; At least that's how it should be, logically. I figured I'd ask Zack about it when I meet him but it was just a small thought that I felt was significant.

I headed up to the roof of the hotel using the elevator, in a matter of seconds, I reached the roof of the building, seeing Zack waiting for me while watching the city, resting his hands on the fence. The sun rose above the horizon as the clouds were washed away by the sunlight.

The whole roof seemed tranquil, it's not as lively as it once was, all the tables were empty and the city was fully covered in mist and it seemed that the clouds had lowered their altitude to below the height of the hotel, it surprised me. Zack seemed to still be wearing his unusual tank-top, I shouted out for Zack as I walked up to him.

"Hey, Zack."

Zack turned to me as he answered, resting his left arm on the fence, "ah, hey, Nathan. Right on time for our first lesson. How have you been feeling?"

I stood beside him as I replied, watching the view, "hmm, not bad. I'm getting used to it, sort of nervous though."

"It's normal to be nervous, I've been nervous when my own guardian taught me my first lesson." He chuckled. "Also from now on, you will call me Master or Lord Zack."

I burst out, laughing for a second then covered my mouth as I looked away, I came back around and asked, "y-you're joking, right?"

He giggled. "Yeah, I kid, you can call me Zack Senpai from now on." He made a cocky smile.
