    He stood up and walked towards her. He placed his hand on her face and she flinched. His face drew closer to hers and their lips connected. It was more of a small simple kiss. The lights in the house grew darker and darker. I was finally waking up. I gladly accepted it and closed my eyes. When I did, I felt a pair of lips on mine. A pair of lips I would never forget, Preston's lips.

  "She's waking up..."
"Mmmmm..."
"Preston, stopping kissing your passed out girlfriend."
"S-sorry... I just thought that'd wake her up. You know how in movies, the pri-"
"Yeah yeah we know, just help her up."
Preston picked up Kayla bridal style and carried her to the couch.
"Mmm...ow my head..."
"Thank gosh you're okay."
  "W-what happened?"
  "You passed out..."
  "W-wait, this isn't the house I remember..."
  "What house do you remember?"
  "Maybe I'm think of our old house... *gasp* I know who LM is..."
  "Who's LM?"
  "Someone who's been trying to break me and Preston apart..."
  "So, who is this LM?"
"Lexi Mann..."
I froze, it couldn't be. It shouldn't be...

Kayla's POV
I turned words Vikk and embraced him in a hug. I felt a tear hit my arm.
"I know, I know... I couldn't believe it either..."
"Sh-shes dead though..."
"That's what I thought... She use to babysit me before I was taken away. Thing is, she was never dead."
"I watched her die though..."
"She faked it, that way she could escape what was going on."
"Kayla, what else did you see?"
"Heh heh...you're probably not going to believe this but, Preston has fire powers."

Finally an update for this book! Now that I'm back from my smol trip, I can write more! Yay! Also, if the writing comes out kinda sloppy, it because I'm tired and writing this at 4:00am... We just left...
