I'm Scared

••Alex's POV••

"One more year and we're out of college." Summer said throwing her backpack on the bed
"That's still too long." I said throwing myself on the bed
"Tell me about it." She huffed

"I heard you talking to Jack last night." She smirked
"I just miss him." I shrugged
"I know he misses you too." She said
"Do you miss Sammy?" I asked. She nodded fiercely

"But anyways, how are you and Jack?" She asked
"We're friends Summer." I said
"Still? Come on you're both in love why are you just friends?" She asked
"Maybe because I said I just wanted to be friends." I bit my lip

"Why would you do that? Don't you love him?" She asked
"Of course I do, it's just we were gonna be here and he's in LA." I said
"If me and Sammy can last so could you and Jack." She assured.

"It's just I'm scared." I mumbled
"Scared of what? That he'll hurt you?" She asked
"Yes." I nodded
"Even if he did that's what love is. We go through heartbreak." She explained

"Question is are you ready to go through it?" She asked
"With Jack? Yes." I nodded making her smile
"Good, cause you were made for one another." She said

"Summer can you pass me a towel?" I asked as I sneaked my head out of the bathroom
"Yeah hold up." She called back. Finally she came up with a towel
"Thanks." I said grabbing it from her before closing the door

I dried my body before putting on my undergarments. I slipped on my light washed high waisted jeans and my pink and blue baseball tee. I towel dried my hair and hung it up before walking out

"Cute outfit." Summer complimented
"Thanks." I chuckled as I put on my black choker and some pink eye shadow along with some eyeliner
"Getting all dressed up huh?" She wiggled her eyebrows

"I can't get dressed?" I asked
"You're gonna Skype Jack huh?" She smirked
"Maybe...maybe not." I said grabbing a strand of my hair in a braid

"Mhmm." She said crossing her arms
"Ok what if I am? What's wrong with that?" I asked. She chuckled and shook her head
"Nothing wrong." She mumbled

"I was thinking, after we talk want to get something to eat?" I asked her
"Sounds like a plan." She nodded
I grabbed my laptop and clicked on his contact. While I waited for him to pick up I put on my glasses and started on some homework

"Looks like he's not answering." She said. I looked at the screen and frowned as it read Contact Unavailable
"Well, want to go get something to eat now?" I asked her as I closed my laptop
"Sure, you can call him when we get back." She suggested as she stood up

"Yeah, let's go," I said standing up and slipping on my white high tops and grabbing my phone. I walked over to the door and opened it. The person who was standing in front of me made my heart drop
"Jack?" I asked still in shock

"Hi princess." He chuckled. I squealed before wrapping my arms around his neck
"Nice glasses." He whispered in my ear making me blush. I totally forget to take them off

"What are you doing here? Not that I mind or anything it's jus-He cut me off with a kiss
"I should babble more often." I mumbled as he pulled away
"You should." He chuckled and nodded

"I called you, now I know why you didn't pick up." I chuckled
"Yeah, I was on my way up when you called." He said
"Did you come alone?" I asked

"Yeah, Gilinsky is gonna come in two days but I wanted to come earlier to see you." He explained making me smile
"You look so cute." He said caressing my cheek. I bit my lip and looked down making him laugh
