"Damn," Hoshi groaned, after listening to Chan's story of what happened earlier that day.

Chan laid silently on the bed, Hoshi sitting in the chair across the room. The room was filled with awkward and the background music playing from Hoshi's phone playlist.

"Do you still want to be with her after all this?" Hoshi asked, standing up and sitting on the bed near Chan.

"Of course I do," Chan answered, "I just wish she wasn't so in love with him, with Wonwoo."

"I don't think they're in love yet," Hoshi replied, removing his cap, "you did tell me that they confessed they liked one another just two weeks ago."

Chan rolled his eyes at his friend's statement. "Hyung, please realize that I am unbelievably in love with this girl, and you only confirmed that for me a month ago."

Hoshi laid back, his head resting on the soft bed. "Then, leave her."

"Excuse me?" Chan's arm hair stood up.

"You obviously cannot get her back, and you obviously are struggling to get her to love you. She kicked you out of her house, move on."

Chan scoffed, getting up from his bed and walking to the bedroom door. He grabs the doorknob.

"Why are you running?" Hoshi shook his head, "You can't handle the truth?"

"How can the person who made me realize all this be the one to tell me to get over her?" Chan questioned, "How can you be so cruel?"

"How can you be so blind?" Hoshi asked. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I don't want you to be following her around and wishing death upon her boyfriend. I don't want you to spend a lot of time chasing her. This is not Romeo and Juliet! You are Chan, and she's Julienne, and you need to realize that the time will come when it does."

Chan's throat burns as he listens to his older friend's words, and he rushes out of the room to the bathroom to hide before his friend can see his tears again.

"Wonwoo?" Julienne's father's eyebrow raises as he looks at the contact on Julienne's phone.

She only left for a minute to make popcorn and ended up having her father reading her texts on her phone lockscreen. She cursed the fact he read Korean, she wanted to crawl into a hole within the ground and die.

"Who's he to you?" Her father asked.

"M-My friend, that's all," Julienne stammered, "I met him at the library."

"Really?" Julienne's father gave her a fake smile and showed Julienne the texts on her phone.

Wonwoo ; you looked really pretty today

Wonwoo ; your smile was so cute, it made me so happy seeing you like that

Wonwoo ; you're an angel

Julienne can't help the fact that her face turns slightly red once she finishes reading the texts he sent. Even though they'd only known each other for a short while, Julienne feels happy to be able to meet someone like him.

"I already like Chan more than him," her father suddenly states.

Julienne's eyes widen at his words, and she takes a few steps back. "Excuse me?"

"Wonwoo is kind of bold, don't you think? Knowing you, you guys have only known each other for a month or less. Plus, you shouldn't be falling for his words, you need to put up a fight and see if he's worth it. At least Chan introduced himself to me and showed respect. Does Wonwoo not know that he should speak with the girl's parents for approval?"

"Dad, we're not dating yet," Julienne groaned.

"Yet?" Julienne's father giggled, "Honey, you're crazy. Go study something."

"Can't I be happy here in Korea?" Julienne wondered.

"You can be happy with friends, like Chan. This Wonwoo guy seems weird, be careful around him," He warned, before dropping the cell phone into Julienne's hand and stepping out of the room.
