This week was even more eventful than the previous week. If you can't tell by Aethernea's jump of ranking to #136 or more than 2.5K views, you can certainly tell by the large increase of people I am thanking :)

I've got a lot to say so I'll be splitting it into multiple chapters, to avoid the Author Note being longer than the actual chapter :P

In this first chapter, I want to give special thanks to Menou_miawIvieMojello and ScarlettMC16 for recommending Aethernea to their friends.  That is so nice of you guys! I appreciate it a lot!

I also want to thank Lakshay1613, prachita, NicholeMojello, Crowblaze2219, Hiitsaryaxox, destiny2345678, parrot1234,  Sanjanaprakashk, -Genos-, Nana_jou, Flame_ofAmarog, LilaJ1226, HelenGraul, pRo_2_kOl, imposeidonsdaughter, blanddd, AgnesdeOcampo, twisted_dreamer23, SilverScale975, CodeKyris, diha87, PrateekCheifar for reading and voting. Thank you so much!

Phew, damn that was a lot of people! This might be the last time I thank specific people for voting, not because I don't want to, but because there is just too many people to thank! Still, in the future, even if I don't single you out, know that I've seen your support and I am truly thankful! <3

Previously on Aethernea:

After Elaru explains what the Aetherneal bond is, Kiel decides to accept her offer. After a short practice, Kiel and Elaru activate the Aetherneal bond spell. The spell turns out to be extremely powerful and changes them on a fundamental level.

♦ City of Eleasia [el-ee-zhee-ah] , Temple of Fate ♦

Time is an infinite river, continuously flowing forward, branching into many possible futures.

The river is made out of countless drops of water - living creatures inhabiting the world.

Their drops of life are swept down the river, unable to resist the flow, unable to change the flow. No matter how much they struggle, what can one restless drop of water do in the stream made out of countless drops of water?

To the drop itself, its path is very important. If they hit a rock, or collided with other drops, the force of the impact could push them into another stream of drops.
