Change
Jack
Stupid Darius. It’s
all his fault that
I’m in this stupid
store, buying
some dye for
my hair. I’m
going to attempt
to dye my hair blonde.
I got some brown
contacts to change
my eye color so
that I look different.
I’m in a new rank
hotel, trying to dye
my own hair in this
disgusting bathtub.
I pray it works. I
can’t afford to go
to jail for years.
I look in the mirror
after it has finally
set. Shit. It’s not
blonde, but it’s
some shade of
brown that
reminds me of dirt.
Oh well, it
will have to do. I
dry my hair and
put in the contacts.
I really don’t look
like me at all, and
for a minute, it’s
like I forgot the
real me and why
I had to do this.
