Chapter 25

Colby POV

I squeezed Luna's hand as the ambulance drove to the hospital.

Ignoring the constant bumps and bounces, I quickly called up Cody, Reed, and Devin.

They should be here to support her.

6 minutes later, I sit once again in the waiting room.

The familiar white walls greet me. Luna has already been ushered away.

I try to remember the feeling of her skin against mine and her blue eyes.. however it's much harder now..

Ripping me away from my grasping thoughts, screams come from the hall.

"WHERE IS LUNA RAE ASHER??"

"YEAH??! WHERE IS SHE?"

"TELL US LADY!"

"You have to wait. I apologize." Someone responds calmly.

Sliding down the hall, Reed, Cody, and Devin appear.

Within their hands are balloons, stuffed animals, and flowers.

Their frantic eyes suddenly land on mine as they crowd around.

"What happened?"
"Is she okay?"
"How long till they let us see her?"

I look up at them sadly.

"She said she didn't feel good and then fainted..that's all i know.." I explained, truthfully.

"That's it? Come on!" Cody screamed. He looked devastated, I hated it.

I ignored him and looked back out the window as they all scattered around to their seats.

It grew darker and darker,
later and later.

I kept my eyes glued out the window. My heart aching just for a look of Luna.

The guys had fallen asleep in their seats. Silence filled the hospital.

What if she's deathly ill?
What was wrong?
I should know what's wrong!
Think Colby!!!

What if she isn't okay?
She has to stay! She has to be alright!

I love her!
Her silk hair, her beautiful blue eyes, how she smiles, how she laughs.. everything.
I need to tell her.. before it's too late..

Before I got a chance to move, a voice spoke up.

"Colby? Colby Robert Brock?"

I looked around to see the nurse from before.

Standing up, I ran over to her, heart pounding in my ears.

"Hello again. Alright, so Luna is gonna be just fine. What happened was she had not eaten in a while.. right now we have her on some medication to bring her nutrients up.. we also discovered some cuts along her waist line. She must of lost a lot of blood because her blood count is very low. However, she is stable. " She explained.

I should of watched her.
I'm a terrible person.
I cant believe she started cutting again..
I need to see her.

"Can I see her?" I asked frantically, playing nervously with my fingers.

"I'm sorry but you can't until tomorrow.. she is sleeping and needs rest.. we need you to pick up some medicine for her however.." The lady says as she hands me a slip of paper.

"Have a good day sir."

The nurse slips behind the big metal doors and leaves me, alone.

Oh Luna.. why can't you see how beautiful you are?
