Chapter 26

Colby POV

I decided to run out and get the medication.

I jumped into the car and sped off towards the store.

The guys will be fine. They are sleeping pretty hard anyway.

Walking throughout the store, a necklace caught my eye. It was a bright silver heart and within it was a small blue jewel.

Luna's piercing blue eyes.

I grabbed it, fingers tracing over its crisp edges.

I proceeded to check out and then headed to the clinic area.

After fulfilling the prescription, I went to the house and freshened up.

I threw on my white shirt and jeans. I didn't have a lot of time to get to my hair because I wanted to see Luna as soon as possible.

Throwing myself into the car, I drove back to the hospital. The sunrise brightening the day with its pinkish blue sky.

I can't wait to tell her..
To get it all of my chest..

Luna POV

I woke up in the middle of the night.. Colby had quickly filled my mind and thoughts.
Sadly, I had no contact with him... Not even a bar of service.

All I wanted was to text him, to let him know I was okay.

Colby..
I miss him.
I need him.
I love him.

Why did I have to f*ck this up? He's gonna hate me now.

After that, I spent the whole night watching his YouTube videos and wishing for service in this darn hospital room.

Colby POV

I checked the time.

6 am.

I CAN SEE HER!

I grabbed the wheel and quickly pulled into the parking lot.

Luna! I'm coming!

Running inside, I go up to the desk.

"I want to see Luna Rae Asher!" I yell, towering over the lady at the desk.

She blinks, an annoyed expression on her face.

She clicks at the computer for a moment when..

"Okay sir.. um. Room 207." She answered, eyeing me.

I didn't hesitate. I ran into the elevators and pressed 2.

The moment the doors opened, I was running.

I watched the numbers whizz by.

I took a deep breath.

Lets do this.

I whipped open the door to see those beautiful blue eyes peer up at me again.

***Flashback***
I step inside and see the brightest pair of blue eyes I have ever seen, starring right back up at mine...

Luna POV

Suddenly, the door swings open and Colby stands, his eyes calling out to me.

"Colby..." I cry softly.

Before I can react, Colby runs over and hugs me.

I hug him tightly back, tears rolling down my cheeks, most of his body wrapped around mine.

I hear him sniffle as he pulls away.

I watch as Colby cups my face in his hands.. the familiar feeling of his skin against mine.

I stare up deeply at him as he stares back at me..His bangs falling into his eyes.

In a swift motion, I pull them away, not breaking eye contact for even a second.

Colby smiles at me, still holding on to my face.

"I love you." He whispers before kissing me.

His warm lips make contact with mine.

I move my hands around his neck and pull him closer .

Finally, I pull away.

Gasping for air, I whisper..

"I love you too."
