This is kind of what she looks like except there are no horns and she is less muscular, also feathers on the tip of the tail.

I may end up drawing her eventually.

Today was the funeral of the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen. It was held on top of the Hokage's building which was beneath the heads. I sat at the edge of the cliff, looking among the dark and dreary crowd. Everyone was adorned in black, only myself being a dull white. The sky was still shedding its tears and the people below adding to the downpour. Konohamaru was the only one who was openly crying, others would try to hide it and not make any sad noises. Naruto tried to comfort him, which made a small smile appear on my face. Naruto then grew sad after talking to him, which made Iruka step in to tell them about death, about how death affects people. It's okay to cry and be sad for a little bit but the person who died would not want you to wallow in tears. They would want you to be happy and live for them, accomplish their dreams in their place. I know I would carry on the Third's and Fourth's dream of peace between the great nations. War is the last resort. War never accomplishes anything but it causes unnecessary violence.

After the funeral, everybody went back to their business, including myself. I disabled the multiple vision checkpoints I had across the village to conserve chakra. I kept the barrier in place just as a precaution. You can never be too safe these days.

{a couple days later}

The last few days were still grey and dreary. Some things cleared themselves up though. We figured out why Suna had decided to attack us. The Fourth Kazekage was missing after Orochimaru revealed himself masquerading as the Kazekage. Suna looked for their Kazekage, hoping the worst didn't happen to their leader. Unfortunately, the Kazekage was found in the desert, lying dead in a small canyon along with his assistants and escorts. Afterwards, Suna surrendered with no argument. Technically, they were at fault for not noticing their Kazekage acting differently. Besides that, Konoha has begun it's search for a new leader, a new Hokage. At first, the elders asked Jiraiya to be the Fifth Hokage. He immediately declined claiming that he wasn't good enough for the job. He did offer to bring back a person who was worthy of becoming Hokage.

Tsunade Senju.

Princess Tsunade.

She is one of the three legendary Sanin of Konoha along with Jiraiya and unfortunately, Orochimaru. Jiraiya had also said he would bring Naruto along with him to teach him a new Jutsu as well as help him train more. That right there was what was worrying me so much. Naruto would be out of the village and not under my protective watch. Half of my mind said to go with them but the other half said that this was my chance to begin hunting down the Akatsuki. As I know of right now, Naruto is Itachi's target. I haven't seen anyone else try to get him. That means I would have to find the elusive weasel. I didn't ant to kill him though. This was all apart of his mission that the Third wanted him to fulfill. He's had such a hard life all because his family wanted to rule. I blame Madara for their impulsiveness.

Taking a leap off the top of a building, I floated down to the streets and made my way towards the main gate. I would be saying goodbye to Naruto.

"You sure you don't want to come, Kasumi?" Naruto asked.

"Yes, I have many things to do to help repair Konoha. You just worry about yourself and listen to Jiraiya." I smiled sadly.

"Why would I listen to Pervy-Sage? Last time I listened to him, I was pushed off a cliff." Naruto growled.

"Hey, it's called impulse training. It worked, didn't it? You're not dead, are you?" Jiraiya mocked.

"Jiraiya, you are supposed to be a sage, act like one for once." I sighed.

"Alright, alright. Stop nagging me." he mumbled.

I walked right up to him, shoving my snout into his face and causing him to tip backwards a little.

"Anything that happens to Naruto will happen to you but with double the pain. Do you understand?" I said menacingly.

You could hear an audible gulp as Jiraiya nodded his head.

"Good to hear. Let me know if you find any information." I hinted.

"I always do." Jiraiya waves as he led Naruto out of the gates.

I watched them leave until they were out of sight. I turned my head as I felt part of the barrier being disturbed. The strangers were not citizens of Konoha. I leapt up to the top of the gate and trotted on top of the wall surrounding the city. I came to the area where I sensed the disturbance and I growled. Itachi was there along with his still unknown partner. They were wearing the iconic cloak with the red clouds. The soft jingling if bells could be heard on the wind. Asuma, along with Kurenai, were interrogating them. Once realizing that the two were highly ranked rogue shinobi, they immediately tried to apprehend them. It didn't take long for Itachi and his partner to tire the jonin out. I jumped off the wall and landed on Itachi's partner, pinning him to the ground. Kakashi arrived not moments later, relieving Asuma and Kurenai of the impossible fight. The hat that the Akatsuki would wear was ripped from his head and shredded with my teeth. I put my muzzle I his face and growled deeply at the menace, blowing hot air as I breathed.

"Oh it's you again." the blue man joked.

"Hey Itachi, I thought you said she would be with the brat." he added.

"I did. He is either hidden away or someone else is looking after him." Itachi sighed.

"Why do things always have to be so difficult." the blue man complained.

"Kisame, get up." Itachi said.

"I would if I could." he nodded.

The man, now identified as Kisame, lifted his arms up in an attempt to push me off. My temper was no longer in check as my jaws clamped down on his right forearm and refused to let go. A grunt of pain was all that Kisame released. At the moment, Kakashi and Itachi are battling it out with their Sharingan. Itachi had the upper hand because he was an Uchiha and he had two eyes that contained the Sharingan. I could already tell where this was leading up to. I growled again as blood dripped from my mouth and onto Kisame. I let go of his arm after giving it a good thrashing and charged at Itachi. I was not going to be able to defeat him though.
