I woke up the next morning feeling sore in all sorts of places. There could be many possible reasons but the one that makes the most sense is that gastric acid had built up overnight. I got up and stretched out all over. I stretched spots I didn't even know I could stretch. As I did that unusual morning routine, I heard some clatter below me on Naruto's deck. I shifted foreward to see what was going on. I saw Naruto all dressed and attempting to sneak out off the balcony. He never gets up this early, ever. The sun has just risen above the horizon, my usual time of waking up. It was a habit I got into during the time of the Ninja War. I was so barely safe at night while I was hidden but I was a sitting duck in the daylight.

I decided to check on him just to make sure he was okay.

"Naruto? What are you doing up so early?" I asked.

I swear I saw him jump out of his socks when I spoke.

"K-Kasumi! What are you doing awake?" he gulped.

"I always get up at this time but I know that you never get up this early." I reply.

"I, uh, wanted to go see Kakashi-sensei." he excused.

"Knowing Kakashi, he would never be up this early unless something was required of him. Where are you actually going?" I said, seeing right through his attempted lie.

"I was going to go for a walk because I couldn't sleep." he said smoothly.

Honestly, I was a little hesitant in believing what he said. Naruto could sleep like a rock and nothing but the smell of ramen could awaken him. I decided just to let him go. If he does something bad, I will hear about it eventually.

"Alright, don't leave the village though." I confirmed.

"I know that, dattebayo." he grumbled.

He jumped off the balcony and walked away. I had a hard time stopping myself from following him but I eventually found something to do. I jumped off the roof and opened my wings just before my feet touched the ground and launched myself sky-high. I flew towards the Hokage's building and entered through the front door. I went into the file room which contained everything there is to know that has been learned. It was quite cluttered and needed a good organizing, but, I wasn't here for that. I went into the Bingo Book section that contained information on all the rogue ninjas known. There could be others and the information is incomplete. Despite it not being completed though, it provided plenty of information on the skills of each ninja. Since some of the Akatsuki members have been fought with before, there has to be information on them somewhere in here. As I looked through the files, I heard a metallic clang come from the hallway.

"Shit." I heard a familiar voice say.

"Jiraiya? Are you okay?" I called out, peeking from behind a bookcase.

As he realised I was present, he kicked whatever he had dropped away from my line of vision.

"What was that?" I questioned.

"Uh, Ibiki wanted some, ah, new torture tools. Yeah. New torture tools!" he said, stumbling over his words.

Once again, I had a hard time believing the given excuse. If I wasn't doing anything right now, I works probably go see what he kicked down the hallway.

"Well don't make a mess." I scolded.

"Yes, mom." he mocked.

"I'm old enough to be your great great grandmother. Possibly even older." I smirked.

"Yes, old bat." he changed his words, still in a mocking tone of voice.

"Oi! Watch it! At least I don't have white hair when I'm middle-aged!" I scoffed in a joking matter.

"I do hope you realise that you are completely white yourself." he sighed.

"You know what I meant!" I shouted.

"Now get going, I'm reading." I added.

He saluted me and continued onwards to wherever he was going. I could hear the slight click of metal hitting against metal as he left. I figured it was the 'tools he was bringing to Ibiki'. I shook my had and chuckled as I went back to reading files.

As expected, there was not information on some of the Akatsuki members. They only had names and blurry pictures which were barely helpful when you needed to identify them. I put the files back on the proper shelf and left the building. As I walked along the streets I saw the small boy known as Konohamaru. He was holding something that had to the twice as long as he was tall. It was a shiny metal object that was linked in many joints with other pieces of the same metal. It formed something that looked like a snake, movements included.

"Konohamaru, what is that odd thing you're carrying? Do you need help?" I offered.

He looked at me with wide eyes and a shocked look on his face. Within a couple of seconds, he left down the street running and screaming. I tilted my head in confusion and began to follow the trail he had left by dragging the metal object on the ground as he ran. I could still hear his screaming in the distance, telling me I was going the right way. I stopped just before I walked right into someone.

"Kasumi, help me. Now." he said.

"I was busy but I doubt what u was doing was that important. What do you need help with?" I asked.

"Crap, I didn't think I would get this far." he whispered under his breath.

"What was that?" I said, asking him to clarify what he just said.

"I have a class! Can you teach them, um, something?" he said quite quickly.

"What did you have in mind?" I questioned, growing slightly worried about how much anxiety he was showing.

He didn't answer.

"Do you need me to teach them the history of Konoha? I know you're not very good at history lessons." I smiled.

"Yes! E-Exactly that! Are you a mind reader now?" he chuckled sheepishly.

I'm not a mind reader but I sometimes wished I was so I could know what was going on in a situation like this.

Iruka walked in the opposite direction of where Konohamaru was headed. I followed since I had already agreed to help him.

"Go, go, go, go!" I could hear faintly behind me.

I turned my head around quickly but I didn't see anyone. I know I heard someone talk back there. As more things kept happening, I grew more suspicious than I already was. Along with the suspicion growing in the air, the sound of metal hitting metal could be heard faintly on the breeze. Reluctantly, I turned my head around and continued to follow Iruka back to the academy.
