Breath

~Remember~

Krystal's P.O.V.

"We didn't mean to lie Krystal, we're sorry about that. Kenzo told us everything, about your relationship this past few weeks without remembering him" Mrs. Kang held my hand while the 3 of us were sitting inside Kenzo's room, together with his father. He was already discharged from the hospital, the doctor told us to let him have time to think but it's also okay if we can try to let him rememvber sometimes.

"He asked us not to tell you everything knowing that you're going to get mad at him" Said Mr. Kang

"I was never getting mad at him, infact I understand why he broke up with me 2 times, he just wanted to protect me" I gave them a bitter smile.

"But I think, our situation was now reversed" I looked over my shoulder and saw Kenzo sitting on his bed, just staring at the three of us. He gave us a small smile in which I also returned it.

"I'm the one who's suffering and Kenzo is the one who's forgetting"

"Don't lose hope Krys, I'm sure the both of you will still be the best in the end. Even fate is fighting for you" Mrs. Kang held my hand tighter and gave me an assuring smile.

"Why don't you try to do the things you used to do? Go to places you used to go? I'm sure something can trigger his memories" She assured me.

"I wish I could Mrs. Kang"

"You will" She walked towards her son and sat on the bed beside Kenzo, I followed her but I only stood up a few meters away from them.

"Kenzo, why won't you take stroll to the park or the school? Don't you want to take your memory back?" She asked his son as she patted his shoulders

"I would want that but... I don't think it's a good idea. I may remember that I've hurted someone because of my stupidity, I'm afraid that that someone would only leave me" Kenzo said those words while starring right back at me. His parents already told him about our relationship and he said he actually felt bad for me because he can see me hurting.

"She won't leave you Kenzo, Krystal will always be by your side even if you've hurted her many times. Your mind may have forgotten everything but the love in your heart wouldn't bare to lie, it's hard to break the love that's only kept. If you love her, then fight for her"

"Is this our school?" Kenzo asked when we entered our classroom, if I want to let Kenzo remember, it should be his life and friends first. Before he can remember me.

"Yup. This is our room, you were the smartest kid in class. Everyone was actually impressed with you, all the girls and even your friends"

"I have friends? Are they crazy?" I chuckled, even his question is correct. He looked at me weirdly but then his lips curved into a smile when he saw me.

"All of them" I managed to say between laughters, Kenzo was still smiling at me. I missed his smiles but atleast I managed to make him smile today.

"I would want to meet them" He said.

"The garden?" We were now walking on the garden where our second change love started here, the both of us were walking around while admiring the flowers and trees.

"This is where... I told you that I was also sick, that I also had an amnesia like you. You were already my boyfriend that time, you were comforting me and yet you already know everything from the start. I was actually amused when I remember everything, you lied yet I wasn't mad" I stopped walking when Kenzo suddenly held my hand, he intertwine it with his fingers and pulled me close to him. My eyes went a bit teary but I still managed to give him a smile, we went back to the car and settled ourselves there.

"My mom told me about the park, what happened there?" Kenzo suddenly asked, I'm supposed to answer his questions but that was the least thing I want to tell him.

"It was a very painful memory for the both of us, my sister told me everything. In the States, we also broke up in a park, you were walking on the streets but you didn't hear the beeping sound of the car that's going to kill you. I pushed you and I was the one who was caught into an accident, I had an amnesia and then you decided to leave me" I didn't noticed that I was already crying, silent tears were pouring down from my eyes.

"After a year, I met you again. And on that park, is the place where you broke my heart for the second time. You just left me there alone, the following day I wanted to meet you. So I waited for you to show up, but then it started to rain heavily, my sister fetched me in the park. She saw you... She saw you standing behind the tree staring at me with pain in your eyes"

"I'm sorry, eventhough I don't exactly remember what happened, I can feel your pain" He held my hand and gave me a small smile, he tighten his grip and made small circles, comforting me.

"I don't want to remember that but you need to know the truth, you deserve it" I wiped my tears, and booted up the engine.

"Then can you take me somewhere happy? Can you take me to a place where I made you the happiest and luckiest girl in your whole life?"
