DISCLAIMER: I do not own Les Misérables, or the characters mentioned.

In the book Victor Hugo literally writes "Grantaire admired, loved, and venerated Enjolras.", also (SPOILER ALERT) they literally die holding hands. Who knows how it was meant to be interpreted? Nevertheless you cant say that the way people interpret it is incorrect. Because interpretation is not meant to be a solid fact. It could very well be that Victor Hugo intended it to be read as Grantaire admiring, or idolizing Enjolras in a non-romantic way, perhaps in a brotherly way or seeing him as a close friend/comrade. But we cant be sure because Victor Hugo is dead. So without further adieu let us be rid of this silly debate. *Bows deeply and knows people will never stop arguing about it*

A/N If you are offended by this it means either you porbably didn't read the disclaimer in the beginning. If you see mean comments dont reply just report and let me know so I can block them 😊
