Chapter 15

Kalani's POV:
Finally its after school. I grabbed my stuff and walked out.
I saw Farkle and skipped towards him.
" Hey skippy" He laughs.
I laugh with him.
" you coming over today?" I ask.
He nods. " as usual".
I smile then see Lucas. He walks towards me then looks at me.
" can we hug now?" He chuckles.
I nod.
He goes for my waist and spins me around.
He leans in and smashes his lips to mine.
I smile through it.
I open my eyes and see Riley coming toward us with aya.
Riley was staring at us.
I back away from Lucas smashing my back into the lockers.
Lucas looks at me and looked back at Riley and Maya.
Farkle sighs and stares at me.
" can we talk Kalani? " He asks.
I already knew what it was about.
" no need to talk Farkle" I smile at him.
"Please" he sighs.
I nod and follow him.
We stop at the benches.
" I know there's something up Kalani" He says.
" like what?" I act stupid.
" you don't talk to Lucas around Riley because you feel bad for her".
I look at him with a sad look.
" Farkle I-".
" No, Kalani you knew if you dated Lucas, you knew it was going to hurt Riley" He says.
" So now I can't date Lucas because you say so" I scoff.
" no, if you dated Josh you know it would hurt Maya".

" what are you trying to say?" I sigh.
" I want you to be happy too, why don't you talk it out with Riley and Lucas, before its too late" he says walking off.
Before its too late?
Late for What?
I walk back to where everybody is. Lucas had his back on the lockers looking up at the ceiling.
I go next to Lucas and lay my back on the lockers. I stared up at the ceiling.
" what you looking at?".
" I was looking at the ceiling, but now I'm looking at something better"
I furrow my eyebrows and lower my gaze to see Lucas staring at me.
I smile at him.
" Hey Lucas do you want to go to the movies with me later today?" Riley comes up and asks Lucas.
My eyes widen.
" I was gonna go with Kalani somewhere " he says.
" oh to where?" She asks.
" it was sorta a secret that I was taking her out" Lucas said annoyingly.

" you can do it another day, besides I don't think Kalani will mind" Riley giggles.
Lucas looks at me.
" sure, what ever, I don't care" I say walking away.
Lucas looks at me and responds to Riley.
" ill go with you to the movies".
That's when I did it.
I picked up my cell phone.
And called the number I didint think I was going to call again.
I waited for it to ring.
"Hello? Kalani?".

" Hi, Josh?".
