Chapter 18

Kalani's POV:
" Farkle!, turn off the hose, thats enough!" I said as I tried dodging him.
He was having allot of fun wetting me and Maya.
" no I will not! You two were acting all awkward in the restaurant yesterday with Josh and Melissa" He said.
" and so What?" Maya said.
I shrugged.
" you guys dont like her" Farkle questioned turning off the water.
" I dont see why we should tell you" Maya scoffed.
Farkle sighs then turned to me, " How's Lucas?" He asks.
" how would I know?" I said annoyingly.

" Okay, Josh and Lucas, two boys, who like two girls" He started. " Lucas is confused between Kalani, Riley, and you Maya" He said.
Maya scoffed, " sure me, uh huh, keep going on with the lie".
Farkle ignored her remark," Josh, likes you Kalani,and I know you may think he likes Melissa".

" Ugh Don't even bring her name up " I groaned.
" see you guys do have a problem with her" He half shouted.
All of a sudden I see Lucas pass us with Missy Bradford. What are they doing at the park?
Wait it's public, god I'm stupid.
He shot me a death glare then turned around.
" well I know our friendship is for sure over" I sighed sitting down.
All of a sudden Farkle turns the hose on again.
" get up. You two are gonna choose and decide who you want to chase" He said pointing the hose at us.
" YOU better not spray us Farkle we've had enough " Maya yelled.
" no I don't think so, you guys have definitely not have had enough" he smirks.
"Your the devil child"I point at him and getting ready because I knew I was about to get sprayed.
Yup, I was right because with that Farkle pointed the water towards me and sprayed me.
"AHHH FARKLE STOP ITS SO COLD!" I yelled.
"I don't care"He laughs.
" oh he's a savage kid now" Maya looks at me.
We both smile at each other and walk towards Farkle.
Farkle' smile soon disappeared.
"Ladies" He smoothly said.
All of a sudden I see Maya yank the hose away.
" aye Maya I'm already wet please don't wet me again" I groan.
" shut up dummy" she laughs. " were on the same team".
With that I sighed in relief.
After a few turns wetting Farkle we finally stopped.
"The tables have turned I wasint supposed to be the one that got wet" he laughs. " but honestly guys make up your damn mind, and stop playing with the guys feelings" Farkle says.
" but guys are just complete dumb" I say. I look at farkle, " no offense".
He grins. " Kalani, Maya make up your mind" he stops. "Maya you don't even know who you like, is Lucas or is it just Josh? And for you Kalani" he stops again. " you may never know if the one for you is sitting right besides you".
And with that Farkle stands up and walks away.
I looked at Maya as she looked at me.
"Does Farkle like you?" She questioned me.
I shrug, " I don't know, I'm confused, I-I I'm gonna go home, see you tomorrow?" I questioned as she nods her head.

I go back home and knock on the door.
Cory opens the door and waves at me. " sweetie why are you wet?" Too Ava screams from the kitchen.
" Farkle wet me and Maya in the park" I laugh.
She laughs.
" josh is here" Cory silently says.
I sigh. " where?".
" bathroom".
" doing what?" I asked.
Cory gives me a glare, " what else do you do in a bathroom Kal" he laughs.
" oh right" I laugh with him.
" Where's Riley?" I ask.
" Her room".
I nod as I hear the bathroom door open.
I prepare my self to face the creature in front of me.
Holy cow he looks so cute today! No Kalani! He likes Melissa!
" Hey, Kalani" Josh waves smirking at me.
Oh no, the smirk.
" ACK!" I yell.
" what's an ack?" He asks.
" oh my god, excuse me" I say running to my room.
I see Riley on her bed watching tv.
" hey Kal" she waves.
I wave a small wave to her.
I still don't like her attitude anymore she's been very cold to me lately.
I go into my side of the room and close the blinds.
I quickly changed into some dark blue skinny jeans and a kaky long sleeve shirt.
I mean it was December and I'm freezing over here.
I put on my ugg boots and brushes my hair a bit and re did my scattered makeup.
After that I just layed on my bed thinking that I just made my self look like a complete fool towards Josh.
All of a sudden I hear my door open.
And then my blinds were open too.
There stood Josh.
He looked concerned.
He raised an eyebrow. " hello, it's me Josh, what's up with you?".
I looked up at him like a scared child with puppy dog eyes.
" I'm gonna pretend I'm sleeping now, ok? Alright, good night" I say.
" it's barley 4 in the afternoon" he sighs.
I slowly get up. " oh, I Umm I knew that, I was just-" he cut me off, by going in front of me and cupping my face.
He chuckles as I choke up on my words.
" glad to know I still make you nervous" he chuckles. " now tell me what's going on with you".
" nothing".
" is it about Melissa?" He asks.
I look at him wide eyed. How did he know.
It soon hit me. Farkle.
That douche.
" yes, yes it is" I say not keeping it in.
He laughs. " why?".
" she's all over you and me and Maya don't like it one bit".
" she's just a friend" he says groaning.
" but she's all over you".
" no she isint I keep my standards" he still goes on.
" you sure about that?".
" well but I mean I like you".
" and then like you act like it was no big deal in the restaurant" I say angrily.
" KALANI, did you not hear me? I like you" He says laughing.
I look at him. " I know, but you like Melissa more".
He shakes his head. " forget this talk let's go do something".
" like?".
" laser tag ".
And with that we were out.

Even with Josh, I couldn't forget Farkles words. What did he mean?

Hey guys it's MalikGirk37 here, this isint the best chapter here but aye I tried getting a chapter in due to my lack of updating. But I'm officially done with my finals and I'm in winter break and I can start updating all my books now! ALSO PLEASE GIVE ME IDEAS FOR THIS BOOK IM RUNNING OUT! AND I MIGHT DISCONTINUE OR PUT IT ON HOLD IF I DONT FIGURE OUT WHAT ELSE TO WRITE!
