Chapter 16

Kalani's POV:
" I came here as fast as I could" he spoke.
" thanks Josh, your not upset I chose Lucas over you right? " I ask.
" I still am, I don't know how I'm going to deal with it, I'm just glad your talking to me".
I smile at him.
" so how are you and Lucas?" He asks.
" a bit off".
" why".
" I feel bad for Riley, so if I hug Lucas or do something with him I feel the urge to get away from him, then Riley asked him to go to the movies and he accepted".
" wait? So he went? Riley talked to me about going to watch finding dory" he says." We should go crash it".

I laugh. " why do you wanna crash it".
" if we don't, something's going to hAppen between them".
I sigh then nod.
We rush out and go walking to the movie theaters.

When we finally got there Josh went to pay for the tickets.
" I could have paid".
" why would I let you?".
" because I don't want you wasting your money on me" I say.
" does it matter?".
" in fact it does".
" well, get it in fact, ill do anything for you" he says walking past me.
That sent me chills down my spine.
We finally went inside and bought popcorn and candy.
We then went to look for a seat.
We spotted Lucas and Riley.
There were two free seats in front of them.
" Lets go sit up there" i say.
" nope, were sitting in front of them".
" you hate me".
" love you too".
I stare at him blankly.
" qas a friend Kalani" He sighs." Even though I wish for more".
He drags me to the seats.
" Hey guys" Josh says to Riley and Lucas.

Riley's eyes were on me and so were Lucas' s.
Lucas looks at me and Josh.
" Josh what are you doing here?" Riley asks.
" I wanted to bring my friend out to the movies, isint that why you two are here...being friends" Josh sarcastically says, sitting down.
I sit next to him.
I look up and see Lucas moving his jaw in anger.
"Lucas, grab some popcorn"Riley smiles at him.

Lucas goes to get some and ends up grabbing Riley hand.
Josh saw that as well.
Josh goes and puts his arm around me.
I look at Josh.
" just follow along" he says. " if he really cared about you, this will make him jealous, I might earn a Pounding " he whispers then laughs.
I nod slowly.
Then the movie began.

During the movie I kept hearing Riley giggle with Lucas.
After the movie we all walked out together.
" we should hang out again " I say to Josh.
" yeah next time the water park!" He laughs.
" do you want me to walk you?" He asks.
" Josh, it's fine I can walk my girlfriend back" Lucas says annoyingly. " I can walk them both home".
" if I let her go with you, don't you think she'll be a third wheel?" Josh says.
" why third wheel?" Lucas says.
" you've been all flirty with my niece, while dating Kalani today" Josh says.
" im not" Lucas says trying to keep in his anger.
" you don't like the truth Lucas, thats what it is" Josh says angrily.
" screw you Josh" Lucas says.
" If you werint flirting then why didint you stop Riley?" Josh asks.
" guys, stop fighting, ill walk my self" I say.
" Kalani, wait, I want to talk to you" Lucas says.
" it's fine, let's just forget today".
" I can't forget, knowing your sad and its because of me" he says.
" it's ok" I gulp hard.
" no it's not".
" I siding mean to hurt Kalani, I didn't know I was flirting" Riley says.
" I SAID IT'S OK, LEAVE ME ALONE" I scream. " all of you please".
I felt light headed.
All of a sudden I felt woozy and began to move side ways.
" Kalani are you okay?" Josh asks.
" y- yea" I say.
With that I stumbled and felt mt self falling. I felt a pair of arms grab onto me.

The last thing I saw was Lucas shouting for help.
