Nellie's P.O.V
This is it.
I can't take this anymore.
I'm done.
I'm so fricking done.
I can't do this anymore.
I packed up my bag and opened my window.
"Nellie?! What are you doing?" Louise yelled from the other side of the door.
"NELLIE! OPEN UP!" I heard Niall yell.
I looked down at the ground. I was two stories up.
Should I just jump?
No! That could be dangerous.
But, I do love danger.
I tightened my grip on my back pack. I slowly inched my way out of the widow until my butt was on the ledge. I closed my eyes and slid off.
I landed on my feet. I heard a sickening crack. I definitely broke something. I lost my balance and tumbled forward into the grass. The adrenaline was pumping throughout me. I got up and started running towards the woods.
It seemed like such a short while but, I couldn't see anything in front of me anymore. I stopped running and looked around. It was dark. Really dark. An eerie kind of I can't see my hand dark.
I heard a branch snap behind me. I whipped my head around but saw nothing. It's okay. I'm okay. I sank down to the ground with my back against a tree. I'll just sleep here. I'll find somewhere to go in the morning.
I heard another snap. This time right in front of me.
"I took your advice, Nellie. I no longer have a flare gun. And, by the way, does this smell like chloroform to you?" a voice said.
Oh god. Abort mission. Abort mother fucking mission.
A cloth was forced over my nose and mouth. I was holding my breath, trying to kick the man.
My foot collided with something hard. I heard a crunch that was shortly followed by a breath taking pain. I quickly sucked in. A tree.
A fricking tree was all I could hit.
I couldn't tell if my vision was blurry or not. I couldn't tell if I could see anything at all.
In fact, I still can't see.
