Renesmee watched as her mom and dad played with Arabella. Ever since her plan of getting rid of her was operated her parents have gotten closer to Arabella and getting more distant with Renesmee. She sipped her lemonade before smiling as Arabella took a sip of her fruit punch. She had put some Vervain in it when her Grandma Esme wasn't looking.

She watched as Arabella dropped the glass and started to go into a coughing fit. Her lip twitched but her face remained worried. She didn't bother to act quickly. She just sat in the lawn chair watching it play out.

"Are you okay Ara?" she asked with a bored tone.

"Vervain," Arabella managed to choke out.

Arabella had a sneaking suspicion that Renesmee was the one who put Vervain in her drink but she couldn't think properly because of the burn in her throat caused by the plant. Before she knew it all was quiet and her coughing started to die down. She looked up and realized that her time control power acted on its own; again.

She had managed to keep her power from her family, with the exception of Crystal and Eleazar, but controlling it was harder. At times she froze things randomly and she would read thoughts that she didn't want to hear. The worst is when she would doze off and find that she astral projected out of her body.

She sat down and closed her eyes before the same tugging in her gut when she would continue, reverse, stop, or forward time. She heard everything continue and saw her parents leaning down on her.

"What just happened?" Bella asked.

"There was Vervain in the punch," Arabella told them.

"What? How can that happen? Esme would never put Vervain on your drinks," Edward said.

"She didn't," Arabella said. She looked at Renesmee without turning her heads. "Someone else must've done it."

"How come you've stopped coughing?" Renesmee butted in. "Maybe you were lying about the Vervain."

Renesmee didn't miss that look Arabella sent her. Of course, Renesmee could never hide things from Arabella. Arabella knew her too well. Arabella opened her mouth to speak but Crystal came in with her bags and interrupted.

"Arabella has a new power."

Everyone seemed to stop breathing. Edward couldn't believe it his baby girl has a new power and she didn't think of sharing it with him. He wondered what it was. Was it Mind Manipulation? Was it Orbing? (Charmed Fans you know what I'm talking about ;))

Bella was overall proud and shocked. She smiled as her daughter started to explain how yesterday Crystal was waking her up and then suddenly time has stopped.

Renesmee glared as her ever so perfect sister started to explain. Oh great, another power.

Edward heard her thoughts and smiled at Renesmee. He mistook the thought as a compliment except of a bitter exclamation.

"I think that it's great. You can use it so that I won't be late for school," Seth said appearing out of nowhere. Arabella rolled her eyes and playfully slapped his arm.

"Daddy, I want ice cream." Renesmee begged. Arabella's spotlight was growing.

"Alright Nessie let me tell your sister," Edward assured.

"No! I want to go alone with you guys," Renesmee pouted.

"Alright fine," he said. "How about we call the others?"

Carlisle told them that he was fine with staying and watching Arabella. Edward was weary that all of a sudden Carlisle wanted to watch her. But nevertheless they left for ice cream. Renesmee turned and nodded at Carlisle before going.

Carlisle nodded back before his eyes dilated. He moved stiffly towards the living room where Arabella was on the couch watching the television. He walked towards her, his blank expression never wavering.

I got caught when I had used my time control powers. I felt a feeling of pride when mommy and daddy told me they loved my power but Renesmee again stole the spotlight. I don't like a lot of attention but sometimes I would like it if my parents paid attention to me.

When Grandpa Carlisle volunteered to watch me, I wasn't bothered by it. In fact, I was happy to be spending time with him. I was sitting on the living room couch watching a TV show called Pretty Little Liars when I heard footsteps.

I turned and saw it was Grandpa Carlisle. He was walking towards me with a blank look on his face.

"Hi" I smiled at him.

It seemed that it broke the spell because he suddenly bared his fangs at me. He jumped to get me but I ran. I tried activating my powers to stop him but it seemed to hate me. I ran through the forest and looked behind me. Carlisle was still chasing after me but this time he carried a wooden stake.

My luck ran out when I tripped on a branch and fell. Carlisle was on top of me I screamed when he dug the stake into my side. I flipped him off me before I ran away. It felt like hours until I finally stopped and looked behind me; Carlisle following me anymore.

I leaned against a tree and tried to catch my breath. I looked at the stake in my side before I grabbed ahold of it. Taking deep breaths I pulled it out, making a scream escape my lips. I leaned against the tree as I waited for my wound to heal. I heard a whoosh and I opened my eyes to see a dark brown haired guy in a suit.

"Are you OK?" he asked.

"Are you a vampire?" I asked weakly.

"Don't talk," he told me. I nodded. I watched him bite his wrist before offering it to me. I took it hesitantly. I bit into his wrist before he took it out.

"You're a Cold One," he said amused.

"How'd you find out?" I asked him standing up.

"You did not have veins under your eyes when you drank," he told me. I shrugged.

"Technically I'm half-human, half Nightwalker," I explained. "My Cold One venom is either low or non-existent.

"Thanks. Where am I?" I asked. I stood up only to feel woozy and fall back. He caught just in time and lay me down near the tree again.

"In the forests of Arizona," he said.

"Did I really run that far?" I asked myself.

"It looks like you did, "he chuckled. "I'm Elijah Mikaelson,"

"Arabella Cullen."

"Well Arabella, why don't you tell me why you are in the forests of Arizona almost bleeding to death," he said with a ghost of a smile.

"Why not?" I told him before I started my story.
