(Link's P.O.V)
I ran out of the forest, seeing that the field was only a little bit farther in front of me. I can't believe I'm leave. No one, not one person, has ever left the kokiri forest, it was considered to dangerous. But I was doing, I had to do it. I had to get this kokiri's emerald to the Princess the great deku tree spoke of.
I stopped at the edge of the field, staring at it with amazement. It was so...huge. There were clears and such in the forest but nothing this big. I liked it. In the distance you could see so much. Hills, mountains, buildings, even in the far off distance I could see a castle of some short. That must be were I need to go.
I headed down the trail, looking all around with wide eyes. It was very clear out here as well. The sky was not a gold color as it was just blue. A nice blue color. Navi flew around my head, looking around the open place as well. I don't think she's ever left the forest either so it must be a first for us both.
"Look at this place, Link! Isn't is amazin'?" Navi asked, flying in front of my face as I nodded.
"Yep. I like it a lot," I agreed, then frowned," I wonder if Saria and (Y/n) would like it too."
"I bet they would. Its a lot different from the forest and different is good, right?" I nodded, looking forward.
"It is," I kinda liked different but at the same time I didn't. The whole walk to the castle, I thought about many of things. I thought about how the great deku tree was now dead, something that was very scary for my friends and I. I thought about the news things I will see and if they'll be any good. I mostly thought about how my friends would think of the things I'm seeing now.
Milo and the others would probably say its too dangerous or to different. As I've grown to know, they don't like different anything.
Saria, I don't know how she'd like it. She's always loved the forest and I bet she'd want to stay there just because of that. She's always just been a foresty kind of girl.
(Y/n), I know she'd like it. (Y/n) always has like adventure and new things. I could see her running around the field for days, dragging me after her as she'd say 'we have to see everything, Link.' We would be out here for days but I won't mind. (Y/n)'s my best friend, as long as I'm with her, I know everything will be okay.
"Your smiling like a weirdo, Link," Navi pointed out with a small laugh that brought me back to reality.
"Sorry...I was just thinking," I looked to Navi as she flew ahead quickly.
"Well anyways, we're here. Hyrule Castle town," Navi cheered as she landed on top of a small wooden sign. The sign stood in front of a wood draw bridge, one that lead into a huge town. I gulped, staring into the town and listening to all the sounds coming from inside. It sounded crazy in there.
"Well lets go, Link! We need to find the Princess!" Navi hit my back repeatedly before I moved, slowly walking into the town and looking around hesitantly.
There were people everywhere! There were more people here than all the kokiri's in the forest. I don't know how I'm going to find the Princess out of everyone. I walked though all the people, looking around the place before looking up at Navi," where do you think the Princess is?"
"I don't know but don't Princesses live in castles? Maybe that's where we'll find her?" Navi pointed out as I looked to the castle. It was a huge building at the end of town, something that looks like you'd find it in a book. I stared at it for a moment before heading down the road, heading off towards the castle and to find this Zelda girl. I only ever heard of Princesses in story books, nether have I saw one before.
I walked along the path, soon coming to a huge gate that cut me off from the rest of the way to the castle. On the side of the gate, a guard stood. I approached the guard, staring at up at him as he looked down at me," what go you need boy?"
"I came to see Princess Zelda," I replied with a smile though the man only laughed at me. Why was he laughing? This was serious!
"Sorry kid, the Princess isn't seeing anyone today," the guard replied," now run along. Go back home."
I stared at him for a moment before huffing and turning around. I walked back down the path, glaring at the ground. Now what was I to do? There had to be some kind of way to get in and see the Princess. I couldn't give up just because that guard wasn't nice.
"Hey fairy boy," I stopped, looking to my side to see a little red haired girl standing there, a wide smile on her face. I saw here before when I was walking though Castle Town. She was one of the only kids my age there," are you trying to get into the castle?"
"Yeah, I need to talk with the Princess but that guard won't let me by," I looked back over to where the guard was standing then the girl who giggled.
"Yeah, you can't get in that way but I know a way," the girl turned, pointing to a group of vines growing up a rock wall," if you climb up those, you can get over the gate. Then all ya' gotta do is sneak around all the guards and your in."
"Wow, okay, thanks," I smiled, looking to her as she nodded.
"I'm Malon by the way. What's your name?" The red haired girl asked.
"I'm Link."
"Well Link, since your going to the castle, if you see my dad, would you please wake him up and tell him I'm waiting for him? He went to deliver milk and I think he's fallen asleep somewhere," Malon explained as I nodded.
"Of course," she smiled widely, waving as she walked back towards town.
"Well thanks, fairy boy, and good luck~" and with that she ran off. I watched her go before looking at the vines then Navi who flew around my head.
"Well lets stop sitting around and get going, Link. Your wasting time!" Navi cried, disappearing under my hat as I walked over to the vines, grabbing a hold of them.

Getting pass the guards was way easier than I thought. In my opinion, they weren't very good at guarding. Maybe I should tell the Princess she needs new guards, it would be safer that way.
Once I got into the castle, I found Malon's father fast asleep. It took forever to wake him and I mean forever. I don't know how I finally woke him but I did. The second I mentioned Malon, he jumped up and took off running. I've never saw someone run that fast.
After waking her dad, I climbed though a small hold that some water flowed out of. It brought me into this garden were there were more guards. It took a little more though into getting around them but I did it without being seen. After that, I was home free!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ran around the corner, slowing down as I came to a small clearing. I looked around at all the flowers that grew around along with the lush green grass that grew. I looked up, stopping to see a girl standing with her back turned to me. She wore a white and pink dress and her hair was covered by some cloth so I couldn't tell what color it was.
I walked up the steps and over to her, once I did, the girl spun around, her blue eyes wide," who, who are you? How'd you get pass my guards?"
"Um..." I though about telling her her guards weren't very good but then again, it wasn't my place to say once I thought about it. As I thought of something to say, Navi came out from under my hat and flew around my head which the Princess noticed right away.
"W-Wait is that a fairy? Your from the forest arn't you?" The Princess asked as I nodded with a smile. She cupped her hands in front of her, smiling hopefully," so...you won't happen to have a shiny green stone with you...would you?"
"You mean this?" I reached into my back pocket, holding out the stone the great deku tree gave me. The Princess smiled brightly at the sight of the stone, clapping her hands together.
"Oh I knew it was more than a dream!" She cheered as I raised an eyebrow.
"What are you talking about?" I asked as she blinked.
"Oh I'm getting ahead of myself, I'm Princess Zelda, what is your name?" She asked.
"I'm Link," I smiled as she nodded, thinking for a moment.
"Link...huh, it sounds femiliar...oh well, you asked what I meant earlier. You see Link, I had this dream about some kind of evil darkness that covered over Hyrule," Zelda explained, looking down at her feet," but I also saw a boy from the forest. He had the same stone you had and saved us all from the evil. I think your that boy."
"Me?" I asked as she smiled and nodded. She turned around, putting a hand on the window seal behind her and looking to me.
"Here, see the man in the window?" she asked as I walked to her side, looking though the window to see who she mean't. There was a man in there. He was a tall, scary looking man with golden eyes that looked like they were up to no good," that's Ganondorf, the leader of the Gerudos. He's swears allegiance to my father but I don't think he means it. I think the evil I saw in my dream represents him."
I stared at the man for a moment, watching him bow down haft way down the red carpet he walked upon. As he bowed, he turned and looked to me, smirking as I quickly stepped away from the window, causing Zelda to look at me.
"Did he see you?" She asked as I nodded," don't worry, he doesn't know what we're planning...yet."
"Did you tell your father about your dream?" I asked as she nodded.
"Yes, I told him but he didn't believe it mean't anything but I know that man has evil intentions. I think Ganondorf is after the triforce in the Sacred realm that must be why he came here. He must want to gain control of Hyrule and the entire world," Zelda explained before she looked to me, cupping her hands in front of her," Link, you and I are the only ones who can protect Hyrule now. Please help me."
"I will," I nodded as she smiled widely.
"Oh thank you~ Ganondorf has terrifying power but we can't, and won't, give up. I know what we can do to proven him from getting the triforce. I'll do my part, all you got to do is get the other two spiritual stones. We can get the triforce before he does and defeat him," Zelda smiled before handing me a letter," take this too. I think it might be able to help you."
"Thanks," I put the letter away, looking to Zelda as she nodded.
"My attended, Impa, will lead you out of the castle, don't be afraid to talk to her," Zelda looked over to the other side of the garden were a tall lady was standing, she did look really scary. Zelda turned to me, smiling softly," good bye, Link, and good luck."
I nodded, turning and walking over to were the scary lady, Impa, was standing. Like Zelda said, she lead me out of the castle, but before we went, she taught me a song to play. Luckily, before I left the kokiri forest, Saria gave me her ocarina with was nice. Impa taught me the song and when we got out of Castle town, she told me which was to go first. She said to go to her old home, Kakariko village. She said that pass there was Death mountain, that's were I'd fine the next spiritual stone.But before I went there, I wanted to go home and see the others. I wanted to tell (Y/n) about all this and see what she thinks about all this. I'm going to be a hero from what Zelda says, I think that would be really cool too. I can't wait to tell (Y/n).
