Chapter 5: Assembly Time

The classroom door slid open. I watched Okajima and Maehara attack Korosensei; he dodged their knives and placed the science equipment down on the tables.

"Thatʻs a vital detail! Be sure not to forgot it!" Korosensei says. Once he was finished, Okajima, Maehara, and Mimura were sitting on the ground; breathing heavily.

"He actually finished prepping while dodging three knives at one..." I mumbled. Isogai walks up to them.

"You okay, Maehara?" Isogai asked.

"Y-Yeah..." Maehara replied. Korosensei chuckled.

"You know a sneak attack that simple isnʻt gonna cut it." I said. The bell chimed.

"All right! Letʻs begin our lesson!" Said Korosensei.

I placed a red string in a flask, I poured in some kind of substance (which Korosensei didnʻt bother telling me what it was) into the flask and waited for a few seconds before taking it out. The liquid had turned red.

"Itʻs bright red..."

"All right! And that concludes our experiment to extract artificial flavors..." The next thing I knew, Korosensei had stolen everyone's snacks. "...from snack food! Iʻll be taking the leftover snacks now!"

"What?!"

"We bought thoughts ourselves!" I glanced up at him. 'It's just an excuse for taking their snacks.'

"U-Ummm, Sir..." I turn around to see Okuda with her hands behind her back.

"Can I help you, Okuda? Korosensei asked.

"Ummm!" She held up a flask and two glass tubes in front of her. This is poison! Please drink it!" I sweat dropped.

"T-Thatʻs not how assassination works Okuda." ʻBut knowing Korosensei, heʻs probably gonna drink it anyway...ʻ

"Now thatʻs straightforward." Said Maehara.

"I guess... thatʻs too much to ask?"

"My, this is certainly an honest assassination attempt, Okuda." Said Korosensei.

"W-Well, umm... Iʻm not good at surprise attacks and stuff like everyone else... But I am good at chemistry, so I made this with all my heart and soul!"

"Heart and soul?"

"O-Okada... No one would be dumb enough to drink it just like that." Said Sugino.

"Well, then! I would be delighted to!" Korosensei took one of the glass tubes.

"-No way!"

"-He drank it!" He hunched forward a little causing me to jump back a little.

"Th-This is...!"

"Is it working?!"

"Is this for real?!" But he just turned blue and grew horns.

"He, uhh, grew horns." I said.

"Ah, yes. This tastes like sodium hydroxide. Itʻs poisonous to humans, but not me, Iʻm afraid."

"Oh..." Okuda says sadly.

"There are two others, corrects?"

"Y-Yes!"

"All right, then!" Korosensei drank the other glass tube. This time he turned a pale green and grew wings.

"This time he grew wings!"

"His face is starting to get pretty fancy!"

"Ah, thallium acetate. Now for the last one!" He drank the flask and a purple aura surrounded him. I backed away towards Nagisaʻs desk.
